Favorite Perfume

I love DKNY Be Delicious. It's the green one. The bottle is shaped like an apple. It is flowery, fruity and fresh. Not too overpowering. I always get many compliments on it. I also love Jo Malone fragrances, particulary the nectarine and honey blossom(or something like that).

I have a lot of perfume. My Mom sells perfume at Macy's and actually works for Coty-Prestige. Which is who Calvin Klein is under as well as many other fragrances.

Perfume is a funny thing because the oils in your body and your body chemistry change the way that the perfume smells on you.

My suggestion to you is to go one day without any perfume or body spray on and find someone to help you. If you want you could go to Macy's at Hulen...that is where my Mom works. All you have to do is tell them to kind of fragrances you like and they will spary some on you and you can then decide which you like best.

I wear Cool Water Wave, Lamb by Gwen Stefani, Nina (it looks like an apple), and Live Luxe by Jennifer Lopez. I can tell you that they are coming out with a lot of new fragrances right now, so it's a good time to be looking.

Paloma Picasso for me. And Obsession by Calvin Klein. They are oldies but goodies. I think they mix well with my body chemistry. And my hubby seems to agree. As well as other people. The Paloma might be a bit heavy, just use less.

Hey A. I wear "Alfred Sung" I've worn it for years and still get many compliments on it wherever I go. I'm a Flight Attendant and pax on the plane tell me it's perfect becuase it isn't over powering. Good luck!

I love Ralph Lauren Romance. I think they just came out with a new one as well.

There was a post like this a little while ago and through that post, I found new favorites.

I am allergic to so many things. I like clean, fresh scents and nothing too flowery, etc.

I found the Clean products ($75-$80) that I LOVE at Sephora and I also found Pure Grace by Philosphy at Sephora that I LOVE. Pure Grace smells just like soap and water. I bought a set of Pure Grace that had a good sized bottle of perfume, lotion, and body wash for $55.

I love Vera Wang. It smells very fresh.

Jo Malone!!! I have fallen in love with it. I had been and Angel and Chanel fan for years and now I love Jo Malone. They carry it at Neimans. It comes in about 30 "flavors". The small bottle costs $50 and you buy one or more. You can wear them individually or layer them. I have 7 of them now....for Christmas I get one, Valentines, etc. My husband always asks me, what perfume are you wearing? because it never smells the same because the order you layer it. go to Neimans and they give you samples to try to pick the one you like best to start. I think it was oprah that said that the "grapefruit" flavor is one every woman should have.

LOVE LOVE LOVE FlowerBomb - you can find at a couple of Dillards stores but probably easier to just go to Neiman's. It's by Viktor & Rolf - it's incredible - the scent is indescribable - it's like nothing I've ever smelled before and I KNEW I had to have it when I first sampled it - it's kinda pricey $95 for the small bottle but it's SO worth it!

I know that everyone is different and their body chemistry is different thus making perfumes smell differently. I love the smell of some but when I wear them they don't smell as great...anyway, I LOVE Euphoria by Calvin Klein-it isn't the most expensive, or the cheapest, but I totally love the smell. HTH
