Favorite Parks in Fort Worth

Our family is fairly new to Fort Worth. We have been to some nice parks, but wanted to hear from some moms with more experience from this area--what is your favorite park and why? Then we could add some more to our list. Our children's ages range from two-eleven, so a diversity of equipment would be ideal.
Thanks!

Perfect--thanks for all the suggestions. I look forward to using our new list (provided by you) to check out some new parks! Thanks a lot!!

Where do you live? The big one in Benbrook (locals call Castle Park) is great. Oakmont park is smaller but has a really nice bike/stroller trail to a waterfall. Saguinat (spelling) park is great because it has something for everyone and is fenced in...LeBlanc park has something for everyone also...tell me wher and I'll give you a better idea.

The BIG park in Benbrook (in SW Fort Worth is the best! It has a big duck pond so the kids can feed the ducks and it has LOTS of covered picnic areas. It has a track, baseball fields, tons of swings, slides, a GIANT fort area. The whole area has shaded areas with big trees and there is a lot of open space to throw a football, kick a soccer ball, etc. That is probably our favorite park!

We really like Sanguinet park on the corner of Camp Bowie Blvd. and Merrick Street. It is clean and safe, and offers equipment for all ages.

There is a great park right off of 30 and University along the Trinity River. Lots of different stuff to do and equipment sized from small to 3 levels high.

My kids favorite in the one in Benbrook the others are mentioning. My kids age rage is 2-16. One of my favorites is Candelridge Park in south Fort Worth. It has a duck pond with a sidewalk all the way around. So, it's great for a walk, roller blading or biking. Plus they have playground equipment for the little guys.

I don't know that it qualifies as a "park" but the botanical gardens are really great. Some of the walks have things for kids to do, and there's a pond with turtles sunning themselves on the rocks and fish swimming it in. There are big open areas to spread out a blanket and have a picnic and let the kids run around.
