Farmers Market near Plano ???

Hi,

I'm looking for a real farmers market in the Plano area....where farmers sell their own stuff...not like Newflower or Sprouts...

Also....do you know any farmers in the area where one can buy fresh eggs....

We used to get our eggs from our neighbor....so yummy....so fresh.....

What can I do next?

Fairview farms on 75 and parker. and downtown plano on 15th street. Not positive they have eggs but they do have fruits and veggies.

Plano has a small farmers market. It is located near Parker and 75. Go to http://www.fairview-farms.com/ for more information. I don't believe they have eggs but they do have produce. They usually run from May to October. It is next to the Staples in the buildings that look like barns.

Prosper, Mayhard egg farm. McKinney has a farmers market every saturday in the old historic section. Don't know exaclty the address, sorry.

Every Friday 9am to 2pm in Allen. Watters Creek Shopping Center located off the service road at 75 @ Bethany (Southwest corner); its called the FourSeasonsMarket. http://www.fourseasonsmarkets.com/

My husband and me bought some fresh fruit & veggies from a vendor that came here from east texas; was absolutely delicious. There are other vendors.

Firewheel Mall in N. Garland has one with various vendors every Saturday morning, and there is also one in downtown Coppell every Saturday.

Watters Creek in Allen has a farmers market on Fridays. It is located at 75/Bethany.

Fairview Farms at 75/Parker sometimes has farmers market. It used to be a lot bigger. I think there are 1-2 people there now.

Georgia's located downtown Plano area on 15th a few blocks east of 75 just past police station and near the Dart rail line.

I don't know about fresh eggs. I know there was 1 person at Watters Creek with fresh milk and some meats.

There is a market now in the parking lot of the old Bed Bath at the corner of the Tollway and Beltine.
