Faint Positive Pregnancy test....hopefully:)

I"ve been trying to conceive my second child for 6 months now after a DandC in June. So every month I eagerly await to an appropriate day to test. This month I tested 3-4 days early with and Early Response Preg. Test and got 2 faint second lines....that would indicate post. Now yesterday and today (one-zero days early) I've gotten faint positive lines on the Early Choice (dollar store) test. I am experiencing some breast tenderness. I keep thinking that the line should be getting darker but it hasn't yet. I guess my question is has this happened to anyone else and is any faint second line count as a positive? Thanks all!!!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thank you everyone for your encouragement, I can't say I haven't enjoyed reading the responses. My husband has been out of town so we haven't even been able to be excited together yet! I have tested again this morning (dollar store brand) and I swear the line is darker!!! I just hope everything goes ok and I'm eager to see my doctor now!

Any faint line = you're pregnant. I had the faintest line possible! The line would be completely invisible if the pregnancy hormones weren't there to detect.

My daughter was so faint of a line the first time, I thought I was seeing things and counted it as negative. She is 3.5 now....sounds like congratulations are in order, YAY!

I haven't used those brands, but with my third boy (who is due in about two months) I had such a faint positive line on an early test that my husband really did not believe I could see anything. I could only see it in natural light and in regular light it looked like a shadow, but I was convinced it was a real line. A few days later I took another just for him and it was darker, and then since I already had a multi-pack, I took one about a week after my intial one and it was very dark. It is just measuring hormone levels so early on many women have very low levels and a faint, faint positive is still a positive. I would schedule a doctor's appointment. :)

I would call the dr and make and appt :D Yeah for you! You could also retest in a week or so and you will probably see a darker line. My first son was like instantly positive with a super dark line, but I was three days late. My second was super faint after a couple negatives but I was testing early. I never took another test, just went to my dr in six weeks and saw his little heart beat. I believe you are pregos:D

I hope it's positive! I do know that in certain light, or held in certain angles, one can see the faint line even though it isn't really registering. Also, when left to sit for longer than the time needed for taking the test, sometimes both lines will show. :( I used to buy two-for-one pregnany tests when we were having babies. Save a little for multiple tests! (we have four kids, and miscarried one, so I've taken many tests!)

congrats, your gonna have a baby!

the lines may be faint, but they are detecting the hcg because its there, no false positives! congrats!

Yep! I got a really faint line with first pregnancy. I was confused because I thought the line should be darker too, so I called the number on the box and the person who answered the phone, said any line, even if it's faint means you're pregnant...so, congrats!!
