Hello ladies,
I was just wondering if you have used any good fade creams? I have melasma and would like to get this to go away as soon as possible. I was also wondering if you have any pore refining products that you like? Just interested in what you ladies have used that has worked for you. -Thank you

What can I do next?

I run a laser machine and the only thing you can do for melasma is get a rx from a doctor. Stay outta the sun!!

Porcelana took away all my splotches and freckles without burning. I don't know if they make it still.

I have had the same thing... Had two dark spots on my face-- on both cheeks. I was always bothered by them because it seemed they made me look a lot older than I am. I started taking a nutritional supplement back in March of 2010, and much to my surprise, both have faded dramatically. Let me know if you'd like some info about it!

Your best bet is probably to have some sort of laser treatment, but procedures like like can be so expensive. I've heard, not used myself, that Clinique has a dark spot treatment that works very well.

I have been using the ROC night treatment for dark spots and pores and love it.
I had melasma pretty bad with my pregnancies - once my harmones evened out, discoloration was still present near the side of my hair line and forehead (thank goodness it did not remain on my upper lip ! LOL).
This product is not too pricy and it has worked very well for the price.
Definately stay out of the sun, use a daily SPF on your face and if you have to, reapply at mid-day.
Facials also help:)
good luck!

I use the Obagi face products for this same reason! You have to get it from a dermatologist or plastic surgeon...but it is so worth it!
