I actually had the brown spots because of sun exposure and thought it was something I would live with. I tried dermabration and seen no difference. Then I started using a reversage cream from Reliv - only because I love all the other products and as a distributor wanted to say I used it...lol.
Within a year of using this my spots and discoloring are 95% clear - even though I still LOVE my sun - we boat all summer long.

I understand your dilemma. So many of us have been putting chemicals on our skin and we didn't even know it. So we need products that not only help with skin issues but that don't poison us in the process. I recommend the product that I use called Glimpse. I would stress that no matter what cream you use, the spots are caused by sun damage (which your skin is more susceptible to due to the medication). So make sure that you use a SPF in addition to whatever cream you use. (I really like the Mary Kay "Day Solution SPF 25" because, surprisingly, it isn't greasy and it has antioxidants, etc in it)

The reason is because the spots are there to try to protect your skin from sun damage. As they get lighter, they protect less, so your skin could be damaged MORE if you aren't careful with the SPF.

I also suggest MK's Even Complexion Essence (being a MK consultant also, with customers that have had amazing results). It actually doesn't bleach your skin--it penetrates to where the colored skin cells are "piled up" on each other, and basically communicates to them to "spread out". As they exfoliate off, your spots get lighter, and the cells more evenly distributed.

Mary Kay has a product called Even Complexion Essence that helps with brown spts, tones them down, doesn't make them disappear completely. It takes some time to see the difference but is worth it. It is $35.

Hi G. - I use a product line called Sense. It is made by USANA Health Sciences. I love this line for lots of reasons. One of the reasons is because it has no preservatives in it - it is a self-preserving formula. This is really important because the chemicals being used in skin care products are dangerous to our bodies. Whatever we put on our skin is absorbed into our body. Are they like aging spots? If so, why not try Esoterica or Porcelana? You should be able to buy either at a drugstore like Walgreens or CVS.
