Eyes, Ear, Nose, & Throat Doctor
Hi Moms, its me with another question.
I hope someone can help me, I'm looking for an Eyes, Ear, Nose, & Throat doctor in Dallas, I am willing to drive to find one. My almost 3 year old is not articulating her words clearly, she will try to repeat what you say but it comes out a different way. This is causing me so much stress because I don't know what else there is for me to do. I want to get her checked out to ensure me everything is ok. She already go to speech therapy and they told me to get her ears checked. I have already did that at her private doctor. I just need help; it really upsets me when my sister tells me my daughter is slow because she’s not talking like the other two and three year olds in the family. This is so upsetting i decided no to go home for the holidays because I don't want any saying anything negative about my daughter or the way I'm parenting her. Someone Please help me, I don't know what else there is to do.

Dr. Tsu and Dr. Wong are both excellent doctors. Dr. Wong took out my tonsils 3 years ago and he was so very nice. Any time I was having problems he was their to answer my questions. Dr. Tsu had to put a prosthetic in my friends ear(long story) and he was so very nice and he also took my nieces tonsils out. They are in a practice together at Charlton Methodist in the Building 1 from what I remember. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They are very good with kids.

I agree with previous poster. Dr. Wayne Kirkham is excellent! I have used him personally and had wonderful results. I saw two other doctors before him: one wanted to take my tonsils out which wasn't necessary; the other wanted to give me allergy shots which may have helped my allergies, but wouldn't have resolved the problem. Dr. Kirkham was quick to find the problem and suggested treatment which worked. I have not had an issue with it since.
He also helped a friend of mine years ago who lost her voice due to nodules on her vocal chords. He coordinated a treatment plan for her that helped her regain her voice including speech therapy.

I have used Dr. Wayne Kirkham in Dallas (Medical City on Forest Ln. - ###-###-####) for my children. They both required tubes in their ears, but nothing more. We have had absolutely no additional problems. My sister also thought my son had a speech problem at age 3, but after having him tested, we were told that he was developmentally on track. Sometimes it just takes children a little longer to properly articulate. Good luck!!
