Almaden Family Optometric Center at 6531 Crown Blvd., Ste 4, SJ 95120. Phone ###-###-####. Curtis Keswick, OD is our personal eye doctor, however, we had an eye emergency with our grandson a couple of years ago and Philip Ong, OD also worked on him. Both of them are great with children and give a very thorough eye exam. They'll take good care of you and your 6 yo.

When my daughter was 2 years old her ophthalmologist figured out that she would need glasses. She recommended we go back in a year when my DD was old enough to actually be able to wear glasses. Her name is Carol Winton. She is with Vision Care Center, Sunnyvale, part of Camino Medical group.

We also go to Milpitas Optometric group. Their contact # is
###-###-####.

Hope this helps.

Dr. Polhemus in Los Gatos (http://lgeyecare.com/). I strongly recommend her. She was already my eye doctor, but she and her partner spoke at my daughter's preschool and they are both moms and excellent doctors.

I like Dale Barr, at the eye clinic on Union, near Foxworthy. I don't have the number on me right now. My 6 year old just got glasses last school year (although he still rarely wears them). My 4 year old daughter also has been checked a couple of times, but no glasses (yet).
My husband and I have been going to Dr.Barr for years - very bad eyes! And astigmatism.
