Looking for some extra income and still want to be home with my kids when they are. Does anyone know anything I can do at home to earn extra income? Franchise, at home business, anything will be helpful. Looking for the West Coast.

Find something YOU are good and and something YOU like to do.

Think outside the box.. Not everyone is cut out for the MLM businesses... I personally don't like them because it appears that they prey on people to get rich quick and it is not all that. Just beware.

If you have children and LOVE children, maybe you can babysit, help the elderly, if you are crafty make and sell things online and at craft shows.

If you are good on the computer, look at corporations, local sales reps who have no local admin, small businesses and help with bookkeeping, etc.

I used to help a sales rep and got paid nicely just for doing his filing and expense reports because he hated do that.

Right now hubby and I own a raw materials business and I deal with Quickbooks, travel arrangements, trucking companies storage and deliveries. There are MANY things you can do if you just think outside the box and get creative.

Best wishes.,

i coupon shop and price match. I keep track of how much I save monthly so I feel like I'm bringing in something. It's not huge but one month I saved $70 which paid for a bill.

Mary Kay is great for a lot of women. They have meetings you can go to, the cost is relatively cheap, and if you don't like it, there is a full refund! Hope this helps!

Take a look at www.wahm.com and www.ratracerebellion. These are stay-at-home mom websites that list several opportunities in their wahm.com forums. Check the "telecommuting" page.

On that note, I started working with www.arise.com. It requires some training which is not paid, but the hours are friendly for moms that have limited time and availability. You can expect to make between roughly
$9.00/15.00 per hour. You can either go about it as your own LLC or you can work under someone else's LLC. When you form your own LLC, you would be, in Arise-speak, a VSC (virtual services corporation).

In just about every sense of the word, you are your own boss working with Arise. They have several corporations that you would "service" - aka work for - such as Walgreens, Carnival Cruiselines, Intuit, Barnes and Noble, Orchard and Home Depot. You are trained for each one that you wish to service. The training is not free, but Arise often advertises vouchers that cover the cost of your training. You first need to become an ACP (Arise Certified Professional). This also is not free, but again, vouchers are advertised which would cover this cost as well.

I am new to this, but so far, I have received about $400 for just a little over 14 days of very part-time work.

They are at www.arise.com.

Good luck!

Dear J.,

Like you J., I had never met the person who introduced me to my home based biz but I was only a phone call away from something that dramatically changed my life physicallly and fiscally. Have you heard of Juice Plus+?

My passion is prevention through whole food and J., my website has a 12 minute video on it which is www.vineripejuiceplus.com and a picture is worth a thousand words.

FYI, we are all about giving people a way to have the flexibility of still being available for their children as they grow up but also giving them a purpose that touches families in a very powerful way.

J. I love your desire to create income without losing precious family time, when can we schedule some time to talk?

My very best,
C.

You could check in to at-home daycare. Check with your state or county department of family services to check out the requirements.
