I just took my son to Riverdale Pediatric Dentistry and loved it. He has autism and I was very nervous about it but he did great. I highly recommend them.

One of our preschool parents is a great dentist in New Brighton. Silver Lake Dental. Her name is Teri Snell.
We would use her ourselves if my hubbies family weren't dentists in Elk River-- probably too far for you to drive- and if not- Elk Dental-- great practice too with young fun hygienists which make all the difference to kids! I know they work late on Tuesdays.

And successful transplant for your Daughter Madi- I was just down at Rochester myself for our MN perfusion meeting. I bet one of my friends/colleagues pumped your Daughter's surgery on the heart lung machine. Continued health for her!! along with prayers for a long and happy life.

I would highly recommend Riverdale Pediatric Dentistry in Coon Rapids (cavitypatrol.com). The dentists, hygienists, and office staff all specialize in working with children, and it's the most inviting atmosphere you can imagine.

I can tell you where NOT to go. Metropolitan Pediatric Dentist. They call themselves pediatric, but are not good with children. If you want details I can give them.

I am about to try Lake Area Dental(www.aperfectsmile.org) in WBL, and have heard great things about them. Email me if you want to know about them.

Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates, Ltd. is a good one. They have a few locations, one being in Shoreview, and maybe Fridley?? K. S.

Our dentist is a family dentist, not a peds specialist, but she's AWESOME with kids! She's big on continuing education and did a major peds rotation this spring.
