Experience with "Creative Celebrations"?

Hi - I am trying to decide whether to throw my daughter's 3rd birthday at Gymboree or in our building's party room with entertainment. I found an organization called CREATIVE CELEBRATIONS. They are a husband/wife team that provide entertainment for children's birthday parties. They have different themes, characters, activities, etc. They seem a little pricey compared to other entertainers but my sense is that they're providing more. Has anyone had any experience with them or seen them in action? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Have you thought about just having your daughter's birthday at home? I used a bit of creativity and threw my 3 year old daughter a Mickey Mouse birthday party at home - it was a BIG hit! We didn't spend very much which is helpful since I am a SAHM as well. 3 year olds don't need an entertainer because they are so self-entertaining, and hate to tell you, but they won't remember it anyway which is a shame after spending all that money! I think birthday parties are getting so out of control compared to when I was growing up with low-key parties at home. I'm interested to hear what other parents think.

Hi,
I have some fabulous fairy birthday party invitations if needed. I have a mommy based business located in Oak Lawn called Good Times Invitations.
thanks

Linda Eck recently did a presentation at a children's event at my workplace and she was a huge hit! Balloon animals, face painting and a magic show. She was reasonably priced too.

I say DIY it-you can do it if you are a lil bit crafty!

I'm already planning my son's party in October-

...I've facepainted in the past-I charged $100/hr (which included materials)...if that helps you with getting a gauge on what pricing goes for now. Most people only need an hour and the kids love that...

Hope this helps!
