Exercise Club or Class?

Am thining of joining a fitness club-Prarie Life in Olathe, 24 Fitness in Olathe, or Lifetime Fitness. I really like the basics-treadmill ( have at home, though) and eliptical. I really want the classes-yoga, pilates and possibly some others.
Do you have a recommendation for one? I had been a PL Overland Park member before kids and liked it.
My children are 2 and 5. I would need to take them with me, or have just evening classes somewhere that didn't have childcare.

What can I do next?

Hi A.,

I have been a member at PL in Olathe since it opened and both my kids grew up in the kids club. Love it!! Highly recommend this club.

I have been going to Jazzercise for about 5 years. It's an hour class including cardio, stretch and some pilates moves and great music. There is babysitting available for some classes. I go to the center in Independence, MO. I know there is a center in Olathe.

I have 1 daughter. She often goes to the play room or Jazzerkid room.

I used to belong to Prairie Life in Olathe and I loved it. But I get bored with stationery things and prefer classes. Even though PL was a little more expensive than some of the other clubs, all the classes are included and they have a racquetball court and pool at no extra charge, so those were the selling points for me.

DO NOT JOIN 24 HOUR FITNESS no matter what deal they give you. My son got his arm dislocated there and it was handled horribly I sued them for my membership money back and got it. It was handled in the most unprofessional manner. I come from a fitness backround. I am a ceritified spinning instructor and have taught many other things as well as running a gym.

My family was members of Prarie Life in OP and about 3 months ago we switched to Lifetime Fitness. We love it. My daughter is 3 and has a great time in the child activity center. She loves the climbing gym and the other activities. Good luck.
