Exercise - 7 Weeks Pregnant
I have always been slim, but when I am pregnant I blow up (was 128 lbs when found out pregnant with my son and delivered at 205 lbs and 130 lbs when pregnant with daughter and 180 lbs when delivered). Well, I am pregnant with my third child and only 7 weeks pregnant and have gained 10 lbs already. I am about 5'8" and currently weigh 138 lbs. I am noticing the weight is going straight to my hips (my saddle bags) and belly area (I am already unable to wear my jeans). Is anyone willing to suggest some good exercise moves to do while pregnant that only take about 10 mins at a time to burn some fat of my thigh/hip/butt area? I worry about doing crunches for the belly area so for now I would just like to keep my butt in check, hehe.

The best thing you can do is brisk walking.. It's great b/c you are outdoors and it is not boring. Take someone you love with you and it will not seem like a chore. It's good for the baby too!

There's nothing you did before getting pregnant that you can't continue to do. I LOVE yoga! You can even find prenatal classes and meet other moms:)

You need some cardio to burn the fat. I walked during my pregnancies, and even did weight training as long as I was able to, however that was a normal routine for me before I got pregnant.

My friend's husband made her walk a mile every day when she was pregnant. She hated it more towards the end but would continue to walk with him. She was smaller when she gave birth than she was before she was pregnant.
If you are interested in walking, there's a workout where you walk 1,2 or 3 miles in your home. I do the one mile alot of times and it's about 20 min total including a warm up and a cool down. I actually enjoy this work out alot. It's more than just walking, they do different moves etc.
I've also been told it's okay to do strength exercises with the bands instead of using weights.
I also have a prenatal workout that's really nice. It makes modifications for each trimester. It's worth checking it out. I don't remember what it was called exactly, but I remember getting it at Target.

I strongly suggest walking. My top weight was 138 when I delivered our. daughter . I've always been slim/petite and I was terrified of extra weight gain but I knew I needed to be healthy for a healthy baby.
I walked daily. My hospital also had prenatal classes. I loved this class because we were all expectant moms, we formed great friendships, we were monitored with our exercise and I still have friendships from that class 15 yrs ago.

Lay on your side & make the top leg do scissors. Then flip to the other side & do it with the other leg. Good luck!

Yeah...definitely no crunches...what about walking every day? I did aerobics while I was pregnant & just skipped any ab work. I think there's probably nothing you couldn't do except that....leg lifts, yoga, etc.
