Especially for Baby (Babies R Us Store Brand) Disposable Diapers?

Has anybody used these? Are they any good? They're on sale 3 boxed for $20 which is AWESOME if they're any good and a lot of money down the drain if they're aweful!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

I went ahead and got them-- they're working great. Better than White Cloud or the Kmart brand, almost as good as Target or Luvs

I use them and I have had no problems with them. My 2 year old daughter has been using them for probably a year and a half now. When she was newborn we used Pampers but as she got older those gave her a rash, as well as Huggies but the Especially for Baby diapers have not bothered her. I have noticed that there seem to be two types of these diapers. Those in a green box are a little more stiff however those in the white box, I think they are even called Supreme are a lot softer - that's what we use. Give them a try - I think they are great for the money!

I have never tried them but my sister loves them. She only uses them during the day just in case but has never had a problem. I saw the same sale and I think I'm going to go get them. You can't go wrong for the price.

My daughter got terrible diaper rash from them, however she got it from huggies as well so if those are fine for you maybe they will be fine. Our favorite for function and price was luvs.

I have tried them, and they are similar to all of the other cheap store brand diapers [Target, Walgreens, Cub, etc]. If you have tried any of those and are okay with their performance, then go for it. It's a great price. However, if you have a child who pees a lot at once they are probably not a good choice.
What I have done is buy the cheap ones for use during the day and at daycare since my son is changed more often then, and only use Pampers at night [because the store brands definitely don't last through the night]. Worst case scenario is you return them and are stuck with the box that you opened [which you could even try to sell on craigslist] or give them away and help someone out

I used them for my boys way back when. (They are 6 & 8 now.) I thought they were great. They used Huggies once and my boys broke out in rashes and the diapers leaked all over. I went back to the Especially brand of diapers and wipes and never left.

I think it really depends on the fit, etc. If it were me, I'd get them and try them...worst case scenario, you donate what you don't use or maybe see if you can return them?? If they work for you, and stick with them, you'll save a lot of money.

I tried them when my daughter was only a couple of months old - I did not care for them at all. I found them to be very stiff and they did not seem fit her body right. For less expensive diapers I find that Luvs work well. Every baby is different though. Good luck.

Hi S.!

I just wanted to let you know that I have used EVERY store brand diaper out there. I started with the Target store brand 3 years ago with my oldest and worked my way around to trying all the diapers on sale in her 1st 8 months. The Especially for Baby ones are terrible. They may have changed in the last 3 years, but I used them for a couple days (hoping I would end up liking them) and I ended up making a baby cake out of them for a friend. They were really thin. I also did not like the walmart brand ones (white cloud or something like that). What I found when my 1st was about 8 months were the Sam's Club member's mark brand and have used them ever since. I have never had a blow out with my 1 year old (even as an infant) or rarly any leaks at night. They are the best "cheap" diaper I have come across, I actually think they are better then name brand ones. It is worth the membership fee (40) for the diapers, wipes, and formula. We used the member's mark brand for all. Diapers are $33 for 200 size 3 diapers. Wipes are $13 for a 750 wipe box. Formula is less then $20 for a huge can that makes almost 400 ounces. I really like all of their store brand products (toilet paper, napkins, laundry soap, etc). I kind of got off the Especially for baby brand topic, sorry! Like everyone said you could always try and then donate since every kid is different. I just wouldn't waste my money again on them.

We bought a few boxes of every size when they were on sale for $10/box the day after T-giving (two days after my last baby was born). They worked just fine. I had no problems with them. Every baby is shaped differently and not all daipers work for each one. Some babies get diaper rash from the dye used in diapers to make them look pretty. I hope they work for you.

My sister used the Toys R Us brand, many years ago, and they worked great back then. I haven't used them yet.
