Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (or a regular eraser). You said drywall - the wall is not painted? If it isn't painted, then why not just use a regular pencil eraser?

You can use magic eraser without water. I have done this many times and it prolongs the life of your magic eraser as well as works great on tasks where you can't or don't want to use water. However the art eraser will probably work better. But if you happen to have a magic eraser sitting around give it a try dry, but very gently.

Is the wall not painted? You can use a little bit of water to wash a painted wall.

I think an art eraser will work best. Make sure it is a real art eraser Not regular pink. The art erasers are specially made to grab the graphite/lead without doing damage to the surface your working on/with. Mr. Clean magic erasers are awesome for many cleaning jobs but DO require the use of water. Hope this helps.
