OK I will try to make this short. I have had endo awhile now & could not get pregnant SO went to fertility and did artificial Insemination got my WONDERFUL WILD Daughter she will be 5 in Sept. Anyway had her and seemed to do ok with periods and all THEN got pregnant on our own with my son now 17 mo WAS NOT planned lol BUT he is here and doing good and wild like SIS lol.. Anyway I have not had problems with my period till like last 3-4 mo. I have been late and BAD back pain in lower part like usual THEN about 3 wks ago I was bleeding after intercourse sort of freaked me out b/c was not to start it was about 7 days early I am never that early I was not hurting or anything BUT SUCH bad pain in back NOTHING helps it no heat, Tylenol nothing. I have had this pain since the intercourse and like I am going to start again but WAY to soon not till Jan 21st or around that time. Has anyone else had this problem with endo? I will say it hurts so bad to walk sometimes . My hubby says it is the baby WANT to slap him b/c I had tubes tied VERY tight. lol I told him WELL if I am or EVER get pregnant again I guess GOD wanted me to have more for that swimmer to break through the clamp lol... Oh well just wondering. I keep thinking I am going to start WAY to soon so thought I would see if anyone else had this problem with the Endo... Thanks

What can I do next?

I know someone that got pregnant after having their tube tied. It does happen. But my sister had bleeding like that after sex and so did I but only when pregnant. Mine was due to the extra blood in the cervex due to the pregnancy and a little to rough intercourse. My sisters did not stop and she started to bleed heavier and through of clots. Hers turned out to be a vericous vien on her cervex and could not be stopped without surgery. If the bleeding is too heavy - sooking through a pad in less than an hour or through off clots larger than an inch alway go to the er or doc. Good Luck

Hey M.,
I would suggest that you make an appt with your gyn ASAP to see what's going on. I never had endometrioses, so I can't even begin to relate to what you are going through.

Take care

I would set up an appt. with a dr. as soon as possible.

I have a WONDERFUL reproductive surgeon (he helped us get pregnant twice and we have 2 wonderful daughters). OB/GYN's are wonderful, and I very much like mine, but going by what you listed, I'd go to the specialist. Let me know if you would like his name/number.

Good luck!

Yes. The bleeding problem after intercourse can be from several different things not necessarily related to the endo.
The pain sounds like an endo problem. I would definitely see my doctor and go from there.

I can say right off that I will not be of any help to you. I had laproscopic surgery for endometriosis in Mar of '05, and the endometrial tissue was cauterized at that time. No problems with the endo, got preg with #4 in Jan of '06, everything was normal, still no (real) problems with the endo. Last month, the exact same thing happened to me: bleeding after intercourse, and TERRIBLE back pain! Nothing seemed to help with the pain, after about a week the pain seemed to begin to ease a bit. Not really helpful, but at least we both know we are not alone, right?
Good luck

MY endometriosis was diagnosed over 25 yrs ago (at age 19), so treatment is different now... but the pain and issues are the same. Glad you have two healthy kids. Back pain and bleeding can be endo returning, but can be lots of other things. It is not normal to bleed during intercourse if not that time of month. I would make an appointment on Monday to see OB/GYN ASAP next week. If major pain or bleeding continues, go to ER or urgent care. I have two healthy daughters and endo never came back, but fibroid tumors happened and they are painful too. I had early complete hysterectomy, so only have power surges [hot flashes] to deal with now. By the way, 18 yr old daughter needs laproscope for possible endometriosis diagnosis - thank goodness she is still not sexually active. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.
