Eating in the Late Evenings
My husband is gone most evenings and so after the kids are in bed I'm by myself. Of course, around 8 or 9 I want a snack. Sometimes it's because I feel hungry, most of the time it's not...it's just something to do. What can I snack on that won't be bad that late in the evening or what can I do to convince my self I don't need the snack? I have been eating so nice and healthy during the day, but it's the evening times that catch up with me :-)

My weakness is ham and cheese sandwiches, always has been. I do try to eat one earlier in hopes that I won't want one later. (Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't) Fruit snacks though...I'll eat a whole box in one sitting, so I try to not let them in the house. Eating just happens when there's not much to do, so maybe a hobby. Strawberries, apples and grapes help sometimes.
Good Luck

Carrots or celery. Add some cheese or P.B. if you need a little protein to fill you up - then brush your teeth. That stops me from munching after that.

C.,
You have received some good snack suggestions. But are you sure you are eating enough during the day, especially breakfast?
