You guys always give the best advice and have the cutest ideas! I have a 3 year twins, and I was wondering what are some fun things I can do with them next week leading up to Easter? Also, what do you do that day, any fun traditions? What do you tell the kiddos about the Easter Bunny?? Thanks!

I woke up in the middle of the night remembering.. we always make cascarones.. You know confetti eggs. The bunny hides these for the big neighborhood Easter hunt.

We leave Carrots (with the greens) for the Easter bunny. In the morning we always found the carrots had been chewed on and the greens left on the floor.

We would use Sidewalk chalk on the front steps to welcome the bunny.

We also collect wall Crosses each Easter. They are inside and outside crosses.

Die Easter Eggs.

Then the Easter Bunny hides plastic eggs around the yard (filled with stickers, temp. tattoos, gold fish, teddy grahams, dry cereal and a little bit of candy). The Easter Basket usually has a bubble making toy and a book.

For dinner our neighborhood would all meet for a giant Easter Egg hunt and a cookout.. I have found Easter Pinatas too..

The Easter Bunny comes to our house while DS takes his afternoon nap. He takes the colored eggs DS and I have made out of our kitchen and hides them in the yard along with a basket of candy and toys.

There's so much to do Easter morning with Church and brunch and family stuff, it works well to do EB after nap... plus he HAS to nap or the EB won't come.

We dye Easter eggs and my daughter is 15. When daughter was a baby, my neighbor's mom shared a candy recipe with me and I make chocolate egg candy every year.

It's so popular, the teachers and people I give them too start asking me a month before Easter when I am making candy!

We do the dying the Easter Eggs. I also make sure we read about the real story of Easter in the Bible. One thing that is fun is the Resurrection Cookies. Those you start the evening before. They are really neat. We do the Easter Bunny and have baskets that morning. They know mom & dad hide eggs but it's still fun to find them.
