Early Pregnancy Syptoms?

I only breast fed for 7 months and my son is now 3 and a half but I am still able to squeeze out a little bit of liquid. It's normal, and unfortunately not necessarily a sign of pregnancy. I hope you are/do get pregnant though! :o)

I would suggest calling your M.D. They will know the answer for sure, without guessing.

Hi K.,I breast feed 2 children for about 6-7 months each. My youngest is 3 years old now and I still can squeeze fluid out of mine. I do not think it is a PG sign so early on. Good luck on your quest for a new little one. It is so exciting.

You could be pregnant, hormones are crazy sometimes. If your cycle is off and not regular. But a pregnancy test wont tell you anything, its too early. You could take one of the first response test, four days before your next scheduled period. I used one of those tests for this pregancy and it worked. you just can never tell, a womans body is always full of surprises.

Hi K.. Womens bodies do crazy things. It may not be PMS or pregnancy. My girlfriend never breastfed any of her 3 kids. Her baby was over a year old and she picked up my son because he was crying and she sprung a leak all down the front of her shirt. I don't know why. Our bodies are crazy! Just keep an eye on it and maybe make a journal of anything you notice with your body. Good luck getting pregnant soon.

In some cases milk seceatins stay in the breasts for quite some time. You should definetly call your physician he/she will advise you. Your physician might take a sample of your secreation and sent it to the lab.

Wisdom would say don't assume anything. It is better to talk to your doctor and be safe. We all have some idea of what could be...get profeesional information and have peace of mind.

You are most likely not pregnant since your period just ended 9 days ago. However, that being said, hormones are crazy and you very well could be. I stopped nursing my last daughter about 18 months ago and I still have the occassional "drip" LOL. I was told by my OB that this may last till menopause or even later in life. Lactation consultants tell women who need to pump milk or are trying to get their milk to come in that it is a good idea to hold a baby or have a pic of your baby nearby when pumping. This increases a rush of hormone and helps increase milk production. Good Luck! Babies are an amazing miracle!

If your last period ended nine days ago... you probably aren't pregnant. Plus, if you JUST got pregnant, you wouldn't already be having pregnancy symptoms. You could be having hormone problemsm if your lactating like that. You should probably call you ob and tell them what's going on.

You shouldn't be afraid to ask! I know you already replied, but I was just curious what color the fluid was that you leaked. Because I did leak a yellow fluid (I mean bright, unmistakable, yellow) when I was pregnant. It was a precursor to the early breastmilk that's thicker. But if it's more like normal breastmilk, it's probably what other people have said...hormones causing you to produce a bit of milk. Feeling extra maternal as you probably are now while trying to get pregnant could trigger it. You might want to check with your doctor.
