My daughter is 4.5 and we would like to get her ears pierced. It is her reward for staying dry all night long. I have no idea where to take her. Do people go to the doctors office, mall? Just wondering what the procedure is? I was 5 when I had my ears pierced but that was so long ago.

I took my daughter to the mall to do this when she was 4. Later I took them out cuz she got them caught on "Razz" (her lovey teddy bear) Now she is 6 and asked me if she could get them pierced I told her yes...but she wont be able to snuggle up with Razz by her face anymore...I explained why. So she said "I think I will wait until I am your age!" lol!
Piercing Pagoda did a better job on my 2nd holes than Claire's did. My first holes I was too young to remember, but my mom got my sister's done at the pediatrician's office (bought the studs and brought them in).
Hi K., We decided to wait until my daughter ASKED to have them pierced...she was 11!!! Anyway, we took her to Piercing Pagoda at the Arizona Mills Mall. Its a kiosk in the food court by the IMAX Theater. I liked it because they did both ears at once so she wasn't afraid. And then a month later my spec needs step daughter wanted to get hers done and we took her there too. Good luck! =)
I took both of my girls to Piercing Pagoda in the mall here in MA. They did a good job and my kids got theres done at 3months and 2months old.
