Does anyone know of any places in the South Bay Area that does ear piercing for babies. I really do not want to go to those places in the mall. I have heard of children salons, but they are not around here. Any advice would help! Thanks

So What Happened?

Well, I finally found a safe and clean place to pierce my daughter's ears. There is a wonderful place called Spa Di Da for Kids in Los Angeles. It is right by The Grove. They use sterile disposable earpiecers instead of those nasty metal guns at the mall. They have trained adults instead of 17 year olds that work at Claire's or any other of those types of places. It's a little expensive ($45 for the studs & cleaner), but it is worth it. This place is great. It is a spa for children. It is a nice place to take your daughter if they enjoy these things. I want to thank everyone for their advice. I was really surprised that everyone suggested the doctor's office. This is my first child and I really didn't know that they could do it. It is just unfortunate that my pediatrician does not do it anymore. The website for spa di da is: www.spadidakids.com. I really recommend this place.

My daughter's pediatrician pierced her ears. Check with your doctor. If they don't do it maybe they can recommend someone who does. Good luck!

Dear L.,

I know that my kids pediatrician does ear piercing. Her name is Dr. Genesa Wagoner, and her office is in San Pedro on 6th Street.

Best to You!

Check with your pediatrician. Mine is in Westchester, Dr. Danelle Fisher, and she did it in her office. It was $20, they look beautiful and it was minimally invasive. She cried for about 10 seconds, way better than being freaked out at the mall when they're 12...

Hi L., I believe that the best place to have a baby's ears pierced is at the doctors office. I was recently very surprised to hear that this is a service offered by many doctor's....good luck!
