Hi A.,
Yes, it is safe for you to breastfeed while having an ear infection. You might try using garlic ear drops if you have them. You can pick them up at a health food store if not. You may also want to go to a chiropractor to get an adjustment to help your ears drain properly. Ear infections are not contageous, so your baby will be perfectly fine. Blessings!

Yes, its still safe to nurse. I had at least 3 ear infections while I was nursing. Your doctor will probably give you ammoxacilin antibiotic, its safe to take while nursing you little one.

I assume so. I nursed through a G I bug though we both had it. I just put a call into my Dr. The ear infection it self isn't contagious. You just have to ask about any medication though. I hope you feel better soon!

Keep on nursing, and call the dr in the morning to get an appointment. I've never tried Momofmany's remedies, but I have heard they work sometimes.
