My mom has MS. It is hard for me to watch the changes she goes through. Her legs might not work, but her heart and spirit does.
I do not have a dryer, but you might want to sign up for freecycle.org. Go to the site and sign up for your area. It is an online sight where people get rid of the stuff they don't use/need. One man's trash is another person's treasure! Also, everything on it has to be FREE! It is to keep things out of the landfills. If you have anything taking up space, it is a great way to eliminate it.

I have a dryer, we moved it out to our garage when we bought front loaders a few months ago. It is about 8 years old and not fantastic, but it does work and I am happy to give it to you if you want it. I live in Westminster but am on vacation until Friday, email me if you want to set something up :)

I also have MS.
I also work from home ( www.HomeWithKai.com) as well as a part time job where I can take my son with me.
I am glad you have a supporting husband, I do too. He is one of my greatest blessings, my son being one of the other.
You may need to post what city you are in so those with a dryer will know if they are close enough to get it to you.
I would also try free cycle as they have washer and dryers on there frequently. And as the other person said craigslist is also a likely place to find one.
I am sure you will find one.

Whenever we put out a request like this at church, we usually get a donation within hours. Go to your church and ask if they can send out an email to the prayer chain.
One family needed a car, and I found three people ready to loan or give a car within one hour of looking -- and there are only about 100 families at my church!

You can check freecycle.org or Craigslist. I prefer Craigslist. There are often things given away there that are in great condition because they are upgrading or remodeling. They also give away things that might need a minor repair. Good luck.

I don't have a dryer to offer, but you might check Craig's List or a nearby Habitat outlet store. You can really find some bargains, as long as you feel comfortable with the condition of the product. :)
