I like BioSilk serum and the hair dresser just used something called 10 on me today - it's a spray leave in conditioner and it feels so soft!

regular grocery store MAYONAISE. leave in for like 1/2 hour and rinse clean multiple rinses. the eggs in it will give your hair a moisturising, shiny silkiness to it.

HOLLYWOOD OLIVE OIL CREME! it is sold at walgreens, and CVS. green in color, goes on hair clear though, smells great and has done wonders for my kids, very very curly dry hair!! only like 3.50 too! cant beat it! it comes in a small, round tub, almost like one that body butter comes in. Good luck!

Hi K.,
I am a big fan of Oiudad products on my hair. They're expensive and I order online (oiudad.com) but in my opinion they're worth the money. They're made specifically for curly hair. I tried the trial size bag first (included shampoo, conditioner, botanical boost, humidity control gel and deep treatment) and haven't looked back since. I try and save them for special occassions and in between I use Tresemme shampoo and conditioner. I also don't wash my hair every day. I use conditioner every night but only shampoo every other night. I also second using the humidifier. Good luck!

My hair sounds similar to yours and I use a product called Morrocan Oil. It is expensive but I buy the small travel size that it about $12 and it lasts about 1 1/2 months (and I use alot each time). It smells awesome and has done amazing things for my hair.

K.,
These are great responses and I use Moroccan Oil too. But I would step back a bit in the process and look at your shampoo and how often you shampoo. I shampoo every day to stop sebum buildup--you might not need to. AND I use a product that is SLS (sulfates) and DEA free. Both are harsh products that act like detergents and degreasers (DEA is even an engine oil degreaser). Most commercial shampoos have these chemicals in them, so basically you're stripping your hair of it's natural oils. The second thing you want to do is brush your hair at night to spread your scalp's natural oils down to the ends, then if you decide not to shampoo every day, just wet the hair to get back it's curl definition. Moroccan oil is expensive, but it goes far and use a little on the ends. I find that everything else causes build up. (Which is why most people need that engine degreaser :) ) I use the Moroccan oil on wet hair. Good luck.

Hello fellow curly haired friend,
For apres drying, I put Aveda's beautification oil (smells divine and a little dab'l do ya) in the palm of my hand and scrunch on the ends. it makes it a teeny bit shiny...might be overstating that--non dull. no, you can't get that at a regular store but one bottle will last you 6 mos easily! go to an aveda store and try a bit in the store. it isn't specifically a hair product- it's a smallish bottle and it's yellow in color. it's like aromatherapy. good stuff!

Hi K.. Here's what I've found. It's an ABBA professional hair care product, so u need to find a salon or single hair professional that has it. It's their Nourishing, leave-in conditioner for hair and skin. It's awesome for dryness and frizzies. I mostly use inexpensive hair/skin products, but someone let me try this and I was SOLD!!
