My 2nd grader has to dress up as a wolf on Friday. it is part of a project on fairy tales and he is doing "The 3 Little Pigs". Any suggestions on how to dress ? They are doing a parade for the school.

Brown pants, brown shirt, brown pillowcase to wear on his head (cut out a place for his face/eyes), and with brown construction paper cut out ears and hot glue it to the pillow case.
Or use a brown hoody.
And use make up eyeliner to do his whiskers.
One year for Halloween I went as a wolf because I wanted an easy costume. I simply bought some faux fur. Hot glued it to a head band and added some ears. I cut out two sides of a tale, and hot glued it the sides together with a little stuffing in between (I think I used a bit of crumpled newspaper to cut costs). I safety pinned the tale to my pants. I wore some sweats and safety pinned little furry cuffs around my wrists and ankles. I think I had to fold the edges over and glue those to keep it from fraying all night. I also safety pinned a triangular tuft of hair on my chest too. I happened to have some gloves that were similar color to the fur, so I wore those that night too. I found a dog nose at the store since it was Halloween, but you could color his nose and add some whiskers too.
I'm guessing your son didn't choose a werewolf costume for Halloween last year, huh?

You can cut out pointy ears and hot glue them to a girl's headband, to wear on his head. Use brown or grey foam. Maybe glue a little grey/brown maribou to the back of them for fur. Then go with sweats for the body (grey or brown). You could probably make a snout mask for him relatively simply by rolling up some construction paper or foam (again, brown or grey) into a cone type shape. Use a sharpie to mark along the sides for the gums/lips/mouth. And elastic string to tie around the back of his head.

Buy a cheap grey hoodie and grey sweat pants. Use felt or fake fur to make the ears and tale. Just use an eyebrow pencil to draw a nose and whiskers on his face. If you don't have time or money to buy sweats, then you can put the ears on a girl's headband. Also craft foam is easy to work with, no sewing! If you are on pinterest, I am sure there are lots of ideas there too!
Grey sweat pants and sweatshirt with wolf slippers and a wolf mask? Maybe even wolf gloves?

My son's favorite animal is a wolf. He had a couple outfits that he calls his "wolf" outfit.
Black pants, cream colored long sleeve shirt, grey jacket vest, he's got black gloves that are fingerless that go over grey full finger gloves, he found a winter hat that looks like a wolf with ears and grey fur.
You want to keep everything in greys, blacks and creams.

I'd go to Walmart and get some light grey sweats. Then add a white oval over the chest to make his chest. Then use some headband of another and you add some ears to that head band. That should look awesome.
