Drawing a Will
I live in Denton and am hoping to find a patient family friendly lawyer could help my husband and I draw up a will. I feel horrible that my sons are almost 5 and 2.5 and we have none and I terrified of what will happen to them if anything happens to us. Thank you!

I know a great lawyer that does Family Law. He is super patient, and very professional. I know quite a few people that have used him to draw up wills as well. His name is Stephen K. Harmon and his number is ###-###-####. Good Luck!

A.,
We are fans of the Dave Ramsey Financial Plan (he's an author and has a talk radio show on M-F from 1-4pm on AM 570). He recommends using www.uslegalforms.com if you don't have a complicated will. We went online and bought the will and a living will. The wills are all state specifc and legal. I believe that we used a code from Dave Ramsey to get a deal on them (http://www.uslegalforms.com/daveramsey). I think you can get the will and living will for around $35. You can also go on www.daveramsey.com to get more information. I have a friend who is a lawyer and they do wills. He told me that this will will hold up in court and that I really didn't need a more extensive or expensive will because my estate wasn't that complicated.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi A.,
I live in Denton as well and actually purchased Suzie (or Susie) Ormond's kit..online..it is a CD or DVD that you can print out the will, and any other financial forms that you may choose, complete it and then have it notorized with two witnesses. My financial planner recommended it and was advised that it IS legal in Texas as well as other states. That's what we did and it was alot less expensive than going to a lawyer.

Kevin Hinzman with Hinzman and Flory in Denton drew up our wills a couple of years ago. He is quite laid back and it was an easy process.
