Double Stroller Help - Huntington Beach,CA

Does anyone know of a double stroller that will work with a Chicco Keyfit baby seat? I have been looking everywhere, but cannot seem to find one that will work with that particular seat. My daughter is only 22 months old and I would love to find a double stroller where she could sit down. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

my joovy ULTRALIGHT tandem stroller (not double) fits the chicco carseat. basically, your 22month old has option to sit or stand.

this sort of stroller is mainly "big" kids who don't prefer sitting very long.

Try the joovy caboose, it has a universal infant carrier for the front and then has a tray attachment when the baby gets older. The back has a seat or a place to stand as your older one gets bigger. My 21 month old will only sit in the back now! There are 2 that are the joovy caboose one is much lighter than the other (you can lift it with 1 finger!) and has a larger canopy, it costs a bit more but well worth it!!! I got mine at usa baby and they had both styles, babyies r us only sells the less expensive one.

The City Mini double is great. My son is almost five and likes to ride in it...he's very lazy. But its been a great stroller. You can use it indoor and out door. Good Luck! Jenn

I have had a lot of strollers my favorite by far is the Baby Jogger City Series Double. the regular one not the mini..regular seats are taller than the mini. I have had it for 5 years and USE it ALL the time. The in-line is in the garage full of spiders;) This stroller lays (very close to) flat for babies/kids napping, individually as well as the canopies. the seats kinda "sway" when you walk for a wonderful soothing touch for baby. I do know they have a car seat adaptor, I never used one, I just put baby in, and he/she fell right back to sleep because of the sway.So many wonderful features about this stroller. I spent more $ on this stroller the first time, but if you combined all the other ones I have purchased I could have an easy two dozen by now! The handle is adjustable,to fold.. grab the "fold" grips to fold in half one step!, the foot rest are hard plastic which is WONDERFUL for cleaning. My kids all love to push and ride in it. It is 29.5" wide, so it fits into standard doors, goes shopping malls great, amusement parks, mountain trails.Easy to push with one or 4 kids in it(the 5th one made it harder, I think it was the weight issue ;) ) I LOVE THIS STROLLER!! There are a lot of attachments available. I have not used any, the only thing I have a problem with is the handle gripper after the 5 years is torn now, a month ago..but that is IT! Look it up and do your research. My husband who is the "geek" bought this for me. He said it was better than the BOB...seats go back farther, fold system, handle adjusts and a few other things. It turns on a dime, have the option for swivel or straight front wheels. In-lines are hard to turn if the weight is not distributed eaccordingly, both seats don't recline all the way, the leg room runs out sooner than later The list here is endless! But I recommend the Baby Jogger City Series Double..amazon has a few for $499. Mine was over $500 5 years ago. Good luck.

I would check at www.joggermom.com. The owner knows just about everything about strollers (joggers and strolling strollers). And the month of August is a HUGE sale on all the Strollers month. Check it out!!

DSNG
Kolcraft Contours
BabyTrend Sit n Stand Plus (acts as a double stroller and later can convert to sit n stand
The Uppababy vista has a keyfit adapter bar
Bumbleride Indie Twin Stroller

I have the same issue and in my research so far, I think only these double strollers can fit the Chicco car seat:

Joovy
Bumbleride Indie Twin Double (I'll probably get this one since it's good for everything)
Mountain Buggy

There may be more but I haven't found them. Good luck!
