Double Stroller Advice - Chicago,IL

We are in the process of looking for a double stroller to use specifically for travel through airports as well as leave in the trunk for short trips. We recently bought a BOB Revolution for trips around the city however it isn't the easiest when it comes to travel. I've been looking at the Baby Trent Sit and Stand and wanted to ask if anyone has had any experience with this stroller and request thoughts.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thank you all for your insightful responses. I'm currently looking at the sit and stand on One Step Ahead's website as it seems to have all the features I'm looking for. In response to those that suggested babywearing, I took your advice and also purchased a Moby wrap and I absolutely adore it and so does my daughter. Unfortunately, I do still need a double stroller solution as we purchased a seat on the plane for our youngest and thus I need to bring her car seat with me. Having the ability to put it in the stroller and also have my oldest in the stroller as well will make for much easier traveling.

Thanks again!

Our family is in LOVE with the JOOVY (Caboose) brand stroller. It is sold at Babies R Us. Not expensive, around $150 or so. It is the best stroller we've ever had. Your 2 1/2 year old can ride in the back facing you, while your infant daughter can ride in her carrier in the front. It is light weight, travels well...we went to Mexico with ours, and it stands the test of time very well too. We've had ours for a few years and still use it. I highly recommend the JOOVY.

I am also looking into the sit and stand for my 2 1/2 year old and 7 month old. There is one from One Step Ahead that has better reviews and allows you to buckle the older one into the back seat. I do not have either but have just found that in my search online!

Hi, We also have the bob and are looking at getting a Maclaren Twin Techno for travelling. you can also get a travel bag for it that has wheels for checking it with your luggage. Ebay has them at pretty good prices.

I bought the sit and stand for a trip to FL. and it worked out great. When my 2nd got older I borrowed a side by side and they were ale to occupy each other in the airport a little easier since they could see each other and share snacks. Good Luck.

Have you considered babywearing? That way you could put your older child in a stroller and carry the younger child. That would bypass the need for a double stroller. There as so many wearable baby carriers on the market. Check out http://www.thebabywearer.com/

The Baby Trend Sit and Stand is a very nice stroller, although it is kind of heavy and it doesn't fold all that well (at least mine doesn't). I would also advise not using it if you have a child who likes to run off. There is no way to strap the rear child in (unless you get the deluxe in which you can have a seat in there, as well).

Since your little one is so small, I would suggest wearing the infant and putting your daughter in a single stroller.

I love the Moby Wrap for the young babies.
