Double Stroller? - Forest Lake,MN

I have a 1 yr old son and will have #2 in May. I know I need a double stroller, but what is a good brand? Any great ones, or not so great ones?

What can I do next?

I have a graco duo glider. I like it...but my 2 year old hates to ride in it!! (She hates to ride in any stroller)

I have the graco duoglider also and love it. It fits my large 2 1/2 year old and my baby both. It was $140 at babies r us and the model with the car seat attached was $100 more. I just put the car seat I have inside the back seat of mine and it works fine. You might want to bring your car seat with and try it though because some are different sizes and shapes.
It has nicer sunshades and both kids can recline. The part a love the best is the that it has a 5 point harness for both kids so the kid in the back can't reach forward and pull hair.
Good luck,
J.

I have a Graco Duoglider and I think it'll be nice on walks outside of a department store. It's heavy to steer and I have a hard time holding the baby and steering it one handed. It's also harder to get around in the clothing departments but if you take it slow you won't bump into all the racks. I do like the drop basket and the kids have a cup holder and snack tray. I did do research on babiesrus.com and found this stroller to be the best choice.

I got my double stroller when #3 was born and I also had a 12 month old. I got an Evenflo "Take Me Too" Tandem stroller. I looked at a bunch of different strollers and this was by far the most reasonable. I think I paid around $70 at Shopko. I didn't see too much of a difference between this one and others - except that with the others you could put 2 infant car seats in it instead of one (which I didn't need). I have a Graco infant seat and it fit in the back seat of the stroller just fine and I think any other brands would fit too. The stroller has worked great for me for over a year and a half now and I'm glad I got this one and didn't pay $50+ more for all the others available.

I bought a Combi because they are super light and easy to store. The side by side even stands on it's end, but I got the front back one. They are fairly inexpensive when you look at all the options out there, but they handle really well and don't send you to the chiropractor!

I currently have the Graco duoglide and I really like it. When my daughter was born we bought a one seat evenflow and hated it from the second time I used it. When I started doing daycare I needed a bigger stroller and had heard good things about the duo glider and so far I like it so much better then our first stroller. It has a nice size basket and a removable sun shade for the first seat that we like to use at the zoo but can take it off if were at the mall. Good Luck choosing, there are so many to pick from it can be overwhelming.

I never had one, but I could have used one. I over heard a mom complaining about hers the other day. I didn't hear what brand, but I did hear her say that buying a side by side one was the dumbest thing she did because there were places that she wanted to use it but it wouldn't fit through the door. So I'm guessing that a front back one would be better. Although then I would think that you would have to put the youngest one in the back because what kind of view is that. I think there would be some fighting about the front once they were a little older and cared.
