Check out the Unique Thrift Store on Rice and Larpenteur in St. Paul. They've got everything you need at rock bottom prices. I've purchased strollers, potty seats, toys, books, boots, coats, high chairs, car seats and more for my kids there. The best place to buy clothes, though, is Goodwill. Everything is half price on Thursdays.

Try Craigslist online for a used stroller. I got my double stroller at Target.com for a little over $100.

I second Once Upon a Child. We got our Graco double stroller for $45 when they were $130 brand new in the store. Loved it! Good luck...

There's a place called freecycle on yahoo groups. It's a completely free exchange. There are several out there depending on your area. You have to offer something first, but then you can post a wanted. I did that and someone in my area had one they gave me. Didn't cost me anything. It's worth a try.

I don't know when you need the stoller by but mothers of multiplies are having their spring sale at the end of March at the Eagan Community Ctr. It's awesome. Here's there website.

Have you checked with the multiple groups around town? I belong to Multiple Connections in the NE suburbs and we often have double strollers (and lots of other "twin" stuff) for sale in our newsletter. Google some multiple groups in your area and contact them about if any members are selling stuff. Our annual clothing/equipment sale will be in April, is that too late for you? B.c I know there will be a TON on sale there. You can also try Brian's List online or a consignment store, like Once Upon a Child.
I have twin girls too, they turned 15 months last weekend. I am sorry to hear you are on bedrest, I was lucky to avoid that altho there were some days at the end I wish I had an excuse not to get up at all:) If you have any questions about life with twins I'd be happy to answer any.
