My 2 1/2 yr old is 39 inches tall and 38 lbs, I know what you mean! (4 y/o brother is 57 lbs and 46 inches!) So I would suggest not spending too much since she will likely;y be out of it in a year. Anyway we had great luck with a side-by-side double jogger. The one we had was baby trend I think, but we bought it at a garage sale for $30. (one of the many strollers we purchased for our boys, definitely our favorite). Anyway it was easiest to maneuver with the heavier children, they had plenty of room, and it had 5 point restraint for the baby, convertible to 3 point for the big girl.
My little guy still fits comfortably in our Graco duo glide, and we did like that a lot too. it was nice to snap the baby carrier into and folded up really nicely. Our big guy grew out of it before he was 4, so its in great shape, and no use to us! That one was 250 with the carseat...likely less without it.
Hope this helps!

We just recently bought a Baby Trend Double Sit and Stand stroller for about $130 from Babies R Us. They are running their trade-in event and we got 25% off the original price of $170 for trading in an out dated car seat that was given to us. We don't have two yet but we plan to and this seems to have a lot of different riding options for babies, toddlers and beyond. Our friends who do have two children decided to buy this stroller after trying ours out! Most important thing is to try the stroller out before you buy.

Have you looked at Graco DuoGlider LX? Theres different colors. I have twin girls and love it. You can probably use the front seat for your daughter and the back seat for the other child. They run around $150. You may want to go to the store and have a look at them to test it out. We got ours at BabiesRus, I've also seen the at Burlington Coat Factory at their Baby Depot. Hope this helps

Hi S.!

I would check out napervilleyardsales.com

This double stroller is only $150 and looks like it is nice and long for a tall child. I would maybe go check it out at Buy Buy Baby or somewhere like that first and make sure its a good fit.

or the Joovy sit and stand for only $25!! If you like the sit/stand option.

There are lots of other doubles for sale on there too, and I think Craigslist has a bunch too. Just a thought! You can get a nicer better branded stroller for something in your price range. I saw some great Bob jogging double strollers on there too, if youre into that kind of thing! ;o)

Good Luck on your search...

Hi S.,
We have the Joovy Sit N Stand which we use for my newborn and our 3 and a 1/2 year old who is 40 inches. We took it on vacation with us and it works wonderfully. The storage space underneath is limited but overall a very solid stroller and not very heavy. We tried the BOB but by son was too small. If you go to Buy Buy Baby, you can use the 20% off coupons from Bed, Bath and Beyond if they are not expired so if you want a new and not used stroller, that's a good way to save some money. Hopefully this helps.
