Double Jogging Stroller - Homer Glen, IL
Hi I have been researching double jogging strollers and I have no idea which one to purchase. I like the baby trend double w/swivel wheel and aslo the Dreamer Design Ditto Light Jogger. They are extrememly different in price range and I am having a hard time trying decide on spending $200 or $400. Any advice and likes/dislikes of the ones you own would be great. Thanks

I love me Phil and Teds sport. With any doubles, there are drawbacks, but this comes the closest to pushing like a single. I love it for jogging and all my errand running. It was expensive, but worth the money. I wish I had started with it instead of the 4 other strollers it took me to find this one.

I have the Phil & Teds E3 Sport and love its agility. It did cost close to $500 but we love it so far. I got it for walks, errands and running. It has a toddler attachment rather than the side by side style so its nice and narrow too. I do know that you need to have a front wheel that locks for jogging. Some strollers like mine, can me movable or locked so you can use it for everything. Good luck.

Hi,
Just be sure the one you buy fits in your front door, as well as in the places you frequent (Starbucks...?)

Are you going to run with it? If you are you don't really want a swivel wheel.
I will second the Instep. I have had two Instep Ultra's. We bought one used from Craigslist and one new from Amazon. They are so light and easy to use I love them!
Joggingstroller.com is a great site that will let you do side by side comparisons as well.

There was just a question about jogging strollers a few weeks ago.
Here was my response:
I loved our single (and then double) Dreamer Design jogging stroller. We have used them up until last summer with our 3 and 4 year olds! They are built well, fold up easily, and are comfortable for the kids.
I bought mine online at joggingstroller.com and they had great prices, great customer service, and free shipping.
Good luck!

How much running will you be doing? If you are a serious runner, you will be better off with a fixed front wheel. If you do some running but plan on using it for walks and around town the swivel wheel will be better, a fixed wheel in this situation will be very difficult.

I have the in step Safari swivel and love it. It's light, maneuvers well(even in snow:)) and is easy to fold/unfold. I got it on Amazon last year for under 150.00.

I was in the same boat about strollers. I two Double Jogging stroller that i like are from baby jogger and baby plant. My son is tall for his age and i think both stroller would last me a long time.
