Dora Cake

We are having a Dora themed party for my soon to be 3 year old. I've always made her cakes/cupcakes in the past but would like to order a really good Dora cake. Does anyone have a recommendation of a baker over a store like Hy-Vee etc?

What can I do next?

Hi A.. We did the Dora cake from Hyvee for my daughter's 3rd birthday in January. I highly recommend their strawberry cake with the whipped frosting. Everyone always loves it!!

Hi A.,
I have got cakes from both Hy-Vee and Wal-Mart, I got my wedding cake at Wal-Mart and everyone was very impressed with it. I haven't checked at Hy-vee, but I know Wal-Mart gives you the option of whipped or butter cream frosting. I like both but the butter cream is my favorite, I didn't know there was a whipped until I got married in South Padre Island Texas, and made my arrangements from here in Kansas City, actually I let other people do most everything for me so I didn't get stressed out. So back to the cake, the butter cream is the very sweet sugary thick, put you in a diabetic coma yummy kind. The whipped kinda like sweet whipped cream, light and no where near as heavy or sweet as the butter cream. So I guess most people must know there are 2 kinds, but like I said I didn't so I thought I would mention it. Good Luck whatever you decide. Check the www.noggin.com I think I saw a print out for a cake design on there.

I don't know a specific caterer, but I ordered a Dora Cake this past November for my daughter's 3rd birthday - from HyVee. I thought it was great and she still talks about it all the time.

Hyvee is one of my faves. They did a great job with my Thomas the Train cake.
