I live in Troy and have loads of kids/baby books. These books would be for babies- 4 years old. Where would be the best place to donate these as they are in good shape and would hope some family would appreciate them? Thanks.
MCCSA -HEAD START always accept donations . They are a free prescool and early HEAD START PROGRAM who serve families with children 0-5.They are located in the Verkulien building at 21885 dunham rd MT. CLEMENS . There phone # is###-###-####. they are located near groesbeck higway and elisabeth rd.

Try lighthouse shelter in Pontiac or ring social services...
Our girls school could use them. They are in Detroit public school so I know you know they could use them. LOL!
Another option - www.sweetdreamzzzdetroit.org. I believe they accept book donations, but they may want only new to nearly new. You said they're in good shape, so it wouldn't hurt to call and inquire.
Maybe try a school (my children's school has a library and the preschoolers get to check out a book every week - I don't believe the books are brand new). Your city/township library may be able to help you. They may either donate their old books somewhere or take donations themselves. Or, maybe try calling a local church.
