Does the Man in Your Life Wear Pink?

My ex-Marine husband wears pink a LOT because he's that kind of 'rebel.' He has some awesome skater shoes he designed himself and one of the colors is pink. All the mom's at school have commented how much they love that he wears pink.

Both my husband and son can wear the most obscure colors and pull it off. I LOVE THAT!

I'll stick to my 'mom uniform" of as much black as possible. (These last 20 pounds won't budge.)

Anyone else's men that DARING?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I've been watching the Casey Anthony case every day and noticed MANY of the 'expert' guest lawyers all have been wearing pink ties, some REALLY BRIGHT PINK. I think that's awesome. Some guys look REALLY GOOD wearing pink.

OMG, Tracy K. That's my husband too! He's tamed it down over the years but he has put some WOW outfits together. When my parents first met him they asked me if he ever had a brain injury because he was a mix and match mess. Red beret, flannel shirt (with a punk band shirt underneath) with black and white checkered Van's and camo pants. It makes me laugh just typing this. I HAD to marry a guy that would THINK that was a good look. He makes me laugh every day.

My hubby loves color and wears pink often. He is kinda the Jesse James type so he can pull it off. He has several pairs of pink shoes or at least partly pink. He also has a pink adidas jacket that he loves. My daughters friends joke and call him " the diva" lol.

My husband doesn't really like to wear anything but green and blue, but since I have had breast cancer, by golly he's going to wear pink! LOL! I bought him a pink dress shirt to wear for a breast cancer awareness thing at work, but beyond that he doesn't have anything pink YET! Just wait until I get through with him. :-)

My hubby, no. My Two male Best Buddies, yes.

My hubby also wouldnt be caught dead in paisley prints or floral's. Both my male best buddies pull both off rather well.

I dont like pink on any body. So, seeing it on a dude is more annoying in my mind. I can respect why a guy could appreciate being able to wear it though.

I do love Purple on guys. I favor the color in my mind anyways, so seeing it on a dude...is rather HOT:)

Only when I washed his new/vintage red and white hockey jersey/sweater and it bled giving it a pink hue. He was not happy! He wore it a few times until the guys gave him a hard time.

Otherwise, he wouldn't be caught dead in pink. More power to a man who wears pink!

DH wears pink shirts and purple button down shirts regularly. They are actually standard men's shirt colors and I do not consider DH's fashion choices to be generally bold (he will tell you grey is his favorite color). DS (5-1/2) will also wear pink - just doesn't seem to be an issue.

We're not too big on pink - it's just not one of our favorite colors.
Neither is olive green.
We all love blue, and I love purple and forest green, too.
Our wardrobes are pretty colorful.
I have a tye dyed tee shirt that I live in on week ends.

My Ex-Army husband would never! It is just not his style, he is 40y/o and very set in his ways about how he dresses...sometimes I wish he would be more daring, he is a bit of a square but that is one of the reasons I love him so I can't hold it against him!

I have 6 boys (sons and nephews) and only 2 of them are daring enough to wear the pink...the 20y/o and the 12y/o!

Yep he is! But it wasnt his idea for a while. His office had a breast cancer awareness lunch a few years ago and asked everyone to wear pink if possible. I bought him a nice pale pink polo shirt and he refused. Argued. Sulked. And then looked at himself in the mirror and saw how good that color was on him! He is blond, fair skinned, and just looks great in pastels! He shops for himself now and then and has come home with many pink shirts. He also has purple and lavendar. He has a pair of shorts that are so bright hot pink that people tease him about needing sunglasses when he wears them. He swears he wants to be burried in them, after an open casket service,,lol

My husband cares LESS about what he is wearing than our dog does.

He wears Carhartts, work boots and a ratty t-shirt. Every. Single. Day. If it's comfortable and he can get it muddy, he's happy.

Not a fashion minded bone in his body, that one. He does not SEE or care about aesthetics (thank God, because I am tremendously picky and his lack of bias means he let's me make ALL of the calls in our home...)

In my husband's case, he does not wear pink because he's desperately fashion impaired.

My ex-marine husband can break every bone in his thumb with a wood cutter, refuse to go to the hospital, doesn't want to take his pain medication, and yet still wants to go to work. Now that's daring. Wearing pink isn't considered daring to me, because I see alot of men do it.

My husband looks a bit washed out in light pink, and we both don't like darker pink. He does have a beautiful "coral" striped tie that he wears every other week or so, but is more of a blue, gray, green kind of guy. Just what looks good on him. He doesn't mind others wearing pink though.
My son liked pink when he was 2-3 and someone else's dad had comments about it (a pink paci, he sat on a pink chair at a furniture store while we discussed an armoir, things like that), but my husband was perfectly fine with it. It's just a color. :) Besides, now my son has decided orange is his "thing"....for now.

heres a fun fact though, before the 1800s infant boys were put in pink to signify their sex, infant girls were put in dark blue.

Not even a red and white pin striped dress shirt that resembles pink from a distance. I tease him about it and tell him he must be "in the closet" because he is so weird about it. We had a good laugh, but he is still unwilling to wear colors considered feminine. He's VERY masculine too, so maybe it's a growing up with 3 brothers things...?

I take great pride in my hubby's wardrobe and include lots of pastels in it. He looks SO HOT in pinks and purples! He has an olive complexion and dark hair, so I think it looks great with his skin tone. He is also a manly man--very strong, so I think it helps him have the confidence to wear it.

He has come a long way since the time I met him when his armoire was filled with Bill Cosby sweaters (he was only 24 when we met, so there was NO excuse for the swirly sweaters) and tons of fleece sleeveless vests.

hahaha! my husband...no way! he does wear purple though (lavendar), only one or two dress shirts, never a casual shirt. People always comment about those purple shirts and how sharp he looks.

My dad is the one that will wear purple, pink, any color that looks good on him.
