Does Not Want to Eat Vegetables

My 13 month does not want to eat vegetables. He used to like eating sweet potatoe, green beans, and now he refuses. I think the babysitter that used to watch him would not feed him the foods I would make him. Any advice on how I can get him to eat veggies. I tried yesterday baking the sweet potatoe in olive oil, cinammon, and brown sugar to make it taste nice but it didn't work. Please help.

What can I do next?

Keep trying but also supplement with Juice Plus chewies. My kid eats great but I still think she needs more servings of fruits/veggies than it is possible to eat in a D.. Recommended by Dr. Sears. Here's my distributer's email:____@____.com

It's just a phase. Keep offering but don't force it. The less you push the more likely he will be to try it. As long as he is eating something, he's fine. If you are concerned about vitamins, get him a protein shake like Boost Essentials.

Maybe try to hide veggies in his food. For example, spaghetti add a lot of mushrooms, carrots, onion etc finely chopped into the sauce. My daughter loves mac n cheese with steamed peas and carrots in the sauce. What about baking it into bread, zuchinni or sweet potato. Just some thoughts.

Hello
My son is 15 months and goes thru stages on eating veggies or not. If he wont eat them during a meal and will fruit Ill just let him eat a few bites or fruit then sneak in a veggie bite when he thinks its fruit and Ill do this over and over till both are finished. I hope you find something that works for you.

Buy the Sneaky Chef Cook Books (and Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld is also good)-- these 3 cookbooks incorporate veggies "hidden" in the foods, and still taste great-- your little guy won't even know he's eating veggies!
