Does Anyone Know of a Good YOGA DVD?

I have never tried yoga, so I will be a beginner. I am looking for a DVD that I can use to help me with both my weight loss and stress. I am looking for something that is around 30 to 45 minutes long, as I have limited time during my days. Any help would be great!

What can I do next?

Hello!
If you just want to try to see if you like it, try to catch or record a few episodes of Wai Lana Yoga on PBS (Mo, 6:00 AM in Phx) or Lilias!, also PBS (Tu, 6:00 AM in Phx). Each episode is 30 minutes, so it seems perfect for your schedule.
While it took me a little bit to get used to Wai Lana, I like her show a lot and am actually thinking about getting one of her DVDs.
Enjoy!

Hi Janelle, I'm not sure if this counts but I tried Post Natal Rescue from Erin O'Brien and I think it uses pilates but it's the only dvd that I've liked and done for months. That says a lot. The nice thing about it too is that you can very slowly work up to a harder version of the workout. Might be a good place to start.

I don't know of a good video, but you may want to check out Stroller Strides. It's great for the kids and the instructors all teach a little different.

Hi Janelle,
I have Mom and Baby fitness. It has yoga, pilates and baby massage. It is for beginners although I was sore afterwards. Have fun! I know what you mean about scrapbooking. I have decided not to be on a schedule and scrap everything. It has help.

I've done yoga off and on for about 10yrs and I love it. It's a great way to workout with out feeling like you're working, and the relaxation and peace of mind it brings is priceless. Though I tend to be picky about instructors. I've never found a video I really liked and really, I don't feel like you get the same benefits from doing it at home as you do in a studio. And I don't know if you can get too much benefit at all from a 1/2hr yoga session. If you really need a short workout, maybe polaties (sp?) or an intense workout would be best for you. I have an 8min abs tape that I love which also has 8min buns on it. I think these type workouts are best on a short time schedule especially if you want to see any results. But if you could figure out how to work it in to your schedule (and budget) actually leaving the house and taking a yoga class is wonderful. You might have to look around for an instructor that you like though.

I hope I was of some help. Good luck!

I don't know about yoga, but I've got a few CRUNCH PILATES DVD's and they're awesome. They probably have Yoga too.
Take care :)
