Does Anyone Know of a Good Dermatologist in Louisville KY?

My 6 month old son has always had terrible skin... I think it's just really sensitive. Well, I have tried creams and switching detergents and all kind of things and NOTHING seems to help. Now I think I might need the help of a Dermatoloigist. So, if you could please suggest a good one...
Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hello B.,
My son was the same way. My whole family actually has very sensitive skin... His pediatrician actually recommended that I try Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser as his body wash. It worked immediately. And then for the exzema (dry itchy skin), she recommended a little bit of the Hydrocortisone 1% cream. I would put it on him after his bath in the most affected area. Just not around his eyes. And usually i would wait until he was asleep so he wouldnt rub it all over the place.
All of these things are over the counter. It might help to try a little bit in one area to see if it makes a difference.
Good luck and I hope you find something that helps.

Hey B.,

My 6 year old Daughter recently had to see a Dermatologist for eczema. Her Ped. Suggested DR. Puffhutt, she is wonderful and very patient. I do not think she is a Ped. specialist but, I know she treats children.
Hope this helps, Good luck and God Bless,
B.

Hey B.!
Dr Sheri Kalbfleisch is a great dermatologist in Louisville. I don't have her number but you can call ###-###-#### to get it. This a Norton Healthcare service. They help people find different doctors from all specialties that accept your insurance.

I hope this helps!

I took my daughter to Dr Chad Brown in Elizabethtown, KY. I actually live in Elizabethtown but work in Louisville. She ended up having eczema, my daughter is also 6 months old. Once we got the diagnosis of eczema she is going so much better with her new creams and things! I don't know if that will help much since it's a bit of a drive.
