Does Anyone Dog-sit? or Know of a Great Kennel?

I have heard great things about the Wheeling Pet Resort (connected to their animal hosital). In fact, we are boarding our 2 dogs there next week. They don't do cages or runs - they have 3 different size rooms you can choose from.

I don't know where you live. We left our dog with Itasca Animal Hospital last summer and they were wonderful. She came home with the same personality. You do have to get a shot for the dog right before that so they do not get kennel something or other. It was also fairly reasonably priced and I'm pretty cheap!

It's a bit of a hike but Kountry Kennels in Hampshire on Rte. 20 is THE best kennel we have found. We have tried at least four others in the area and these guys do it right. Ginger was just there for a week last week while we were with my mom at Mayo Clinic. She gets play time, one on one, snacks, Sunday brunch :), ice cream social and they have all services like baths, nails, etc. We take Gingi there about 4 times a year and somehow they remember her every time we walk in!!!

(oh and it's immaculate and Ginger has never gotten sick when she comes home.)
