Best to not have bottles with BPA. I've done some research...it goes both way. but overall BPA is not good in any plastics we use. for baby items check out the http://thesoftlanding.com/
for more BPA info read this http://www.nurturepure.com/BisphenolA_ep_29.html

Hi M.,
I read an interesting article on BPA in bottles in PEOPLE magazine(Of all places! Date of issue, 05-19-2008) the other day. It was short, but informative.
Here are a couple of websites that I found regarding BPA...
1) http://www.niehs.nih.gov/news/media/questions/sya-bpa.cfm
2) http://www.fda.gov/oc/opacom/hottopics/bpa.html
PARENTING magazine also had small articles about BPA on the following websites...
3) http://www.parenting.com/article/Baby/Feeding/Toxic-Baby-...
4) http://www.parenting.com/article/Baby/Feeding/Safer-Bottl...
*Here's a website on "BPA free" bottles: http://www.newbornfree.com/
Hope this helps!
Take care,
E.

I switched to evenflo glass bottles (tempered...so if they break they won't cut). They are very inexpensive (less then the plastic ones) and you can find them at Burlington Baby Depot at Grapevine Mills. You can also order them online. It's what we grew up and we turned out alright (that's a quote from my mother) :)

Go to consumerreports.org and do a search for it and you will get plenty of info. They just had an article on bpa in water bottles as well. This info on their site is free.
recycle code "7" with or without "pc" for polycarbonate.
