Does Any One Know Who Makes a Disney Princess Birthday Cake?

My daughter is turning 2 next month and I am throwing a Princess party at Gymboree. I am wondering where to get her cake. Has anyone had a Disney Princess or Princess cake or even cupcakes made if so where did you buy it and how much was it. if you have pictures i would love to see them....please email me for my email addr. Her bday with presents is running us over $500.00 so i would like for the cake to run under $50.00.

Thanks so much.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

I looked around at Kroger, Wal-Mart and Albertson for Disney princess cakes. Albertsons has a VERY CUTE Disney Princess Castle Cake. It isnt very big but it will accomidate 12 kids fine.

Thanks to all for the help!

Texas Star Bakery gets my vote too! They did a great job on my daughter's cake just last weekend! Love them!

Okay I got a half sheet caket at Sam's for $20-$24 I believe when I got her cake. I bought the kit from albertsons with all the Princesses($5.00).. you can get 24 cupcakes for $13.00 as well.. I can send you pics of her cake.. if you would like.. I will message you. I love Sams because their cakes are always fresh and taste great and they have the best price.. I am not sure if they have the Princess cake now.. they might..

i got a disney princess cake last year at walmart

T.,
We've been getting our cakes/cupcakes at the Wal-Mart off of I-20 and Cooper. Melanie is the baker who decorates and she is Awesome!! Last year for my daughters 1st birthday she made a butterfly out of pastel cupcakes. Also, last year for my son's birthday she made Shrek out of cupcakes for his school party and Diego for our home party. They have a book you can go thru and I believe Disney Princess' was in it. The cupcakes run, I believe 24 cupcakes for $18.

It's been a while since I saw it, but Albertson's used to do a Disney Princess Castle cake that was adorable. I saw it in the bakery but I never priced it or tasted it. My daughter saw it and wanted it immediately. You might check to see if they still make it. It's a cake in the shape of a castle (not a flat sheet cake, but a 3-d cake in the shape of a castle), with pink icing and purple trim. It would definitely be a little princess' dream cake. :-)

I have had great success with Texas Star Bakery. Check out their website for pitures. There are several there.

Good Luck,
H.
