Doctor Needed
Hello can anyone recommend a good OBGYN. I am new to Hudson county and I need to try to find a doctor here that is good and that I can trust. It is so hard starting from square one. I have no idea who is good or not soooooooooo I would really appreciate any help. I am 2 months pregnant and I have to get prenatal care asap.

I don't know where in Hudson County you are looking, but I go to Contemporary Women's Care, in Kearny. They also have an office in West Orange. Dr. Surmeli is the best, he delivered my son. There are also women doctors in the office. The Kearny Office number is ###-###-####. I hope this helps a little.

I love my doctor - Dr. Sasha Prakash in Bayonne - she is the best! She's very friendly and personable. Always takes time to answer questions. I never feel rushed when I go to see her. She makes you feel like you are her only patient and she has all day for you. She only delivers in Meadowlands Hospital in Secaucus too and I think they their maternity ward is phenomenal. They've even won awards.

I just moved here as well, and was recommened to Dr. Omay in Danville. I REALLY liked him. He deals with infertility issues as well, so is really top notch. Very nice and very warm.

Dr. Brescia and Dr. Migliaccio of Hoboken (they're cousins and share a practice) are absolutely fantastic. Don't know anyone who does not love them.

Just don't go to Dr. Prakash in Bayonne.. she isn't to nice. Her bedside manner isn't the best. Dr. woroch in Bayonne is really nice.. and his wife works with him.. they make a great team. good luck

Dr. Brescia has a wonderful reputation and has an office in Hoboken. You could also try the midwives, Lonnie Morris & Donna Tabas out of Fort Lee. They catch babies at Palisades General in Edgewater (about 15 mins from the Lincoln Tunnel) and are both terrific. Actually, Dr. Brescia is their OB back up!

I don't know exactly where you live but if you are in Rockland County (or even Orange) Talman OB/Gyn --- they are wonderful! I couldn't say enough great things about them!

Dr. Naomi Bloomfield is wonderful. Her office is in Troy, NY. She also has an office in Clifton Park. The other doctors in her offices are also very good. Good luck.
