Do You Follow Any Sports?

1st let me just say....Go Rangers!! woohoo. We split the series and it's coming back home.
I'm a ride or die Cowboy fan for life, yes, even when we are losing. It's hard sometimes. I'm still upset about the way our owner gave Coach Landry the boot, but still, that's my team.

Do you have any teams you consider mortal enemies? For me it's 49ers, Packers, Steelers for football, SUCK IT fellas! Spurs, and Kings for basketball. I don't have anything against any baseball teams. You can't be mad at the Boys of Summer
How about you? Do you watch any sports? Do you truly understand and enjoy it or just pretend to make husband or kids happy?

GO RANGERS!!!!

I have always loved baseball and been a Ranger fan since I was a kid! Also am a Cowboys fan (even when they suck). And, I went to a Stars game the first year they came to Texas and was hooked. That was my first experience with hockey and I really enjoy watching it. Although, I can't say I understand all the rules.

As for teams I DONT like.......Yankees and Philadelphia Eagles!

Football i can be a fan of, but I get more annoyed watching a football game :)

I'm a Bears fan for life.
And I am a Chicago Cubs fan also.
I know, I know they don't win, Im still a fan haha

Well, my teen is very upset with Texas. First they stole the NBA championship from the Heat. Now it looks like the same exact thing is gonna happen for the Cards (his favorite baseball team).

Well....I live in Canada, so naturally we're a hockey family. I was born and bred a die-hard Canuck fan and my husband adopted the sport and team when we started dating :) I love it, totally understand the game, BUT I don't spend the time to memorize all the little facts and figures - and I don't pretend to either like some women I know who try to impress men with their "knowledge" of the sport (pathetic, IMO).

We've also gotten into Rugby - which I *totally* don't get! haha - but is entertaining and brutal.

It physically hurts me to sit through a football or basketball game on tv....I just don't get football and think basketball is not much better than pong. (sorry to all the fans!) Baseball is ok, but we're not emotionally invested in any team, so we don't watch that often.

No.
Only the Olympics.
I cannot support sports that cause traumatic brain injuries to their players and the team members are paid bonuses ($6K) for causing such gruesome, fan tantalizing plays on the field. AKA - American Football. It's absolutely senseless to me the $$ spent on watching this sport....But then again the Romans had their Coliseum where they pitted man against beast, and murdered Christians and mindless human beings went and thought that was fun for hundreds of years.

San Jose Sharks! I love hockey. I figure it must be genetic because my mom's family is Canadian. I also like the San Francisco Giants. We had partial season tickets to both teams when we lived in the Bay Area.

I don't get basketball and football. Both are painfully slow to me with all the penalties/flags. I'm thrilled about the NBA strike right now because it means I can see more Sharks games in HD because there are no Sacramento Kings games.

I LOVE SPORTS!

Hockey - We are Avalanche fans!
Baseball - Go Rockies (however, the Cards are me second fave team).
Football - I am a die hard Chiefs fan, no matter what I will always wear my red/yellow.
College Basketball - ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK - KAYYYY UUUUU...I love March Madness, do not interupt me in March!

I don't however follow the NBA, I can't stand the showmanship!

Love to watch the Olympics...of course any team that wears the USA Flag will always win my heart!

Added: Mortal Enemy...MU freaking kitty cats! And the Denver Donkey's I mean Broncos.

baseball and football.

haven't been watching the world series...don't have a dog in that race.

I've been a HUGE Cowboys fan since the 1970s....I was really upset with the game on Sunday against the Patriots (my husband's team) it was such a close game...REALLY GREAT!!

Eagles and Steelers have some great players and some nasty players. The Eagles fans seem to be "the worst"...Towel Heads are a trip...Mike Tomlin is HOT HOT HOT!!! And Steve Cowher was yucky with his spitting! I loved what they did on his first day at the sports desk...

Love the Houston Texans ~ although I live in WA I am anti-Seahawks.

I am a huge fan of college basketball and live for March Madness!! Go Gonzaga! (don't care for the NBA)

We like the Cowboys but we cannot stand Jerry Jones and his egomaniac family. I do give them credit for being great business people but I think Jerry should leave the coaches alone. Jerry wants too much of the spotlight.

Go Mavericks!!

My daughter is a JV cheerleader so we cheer for all of her teams, go to the games, etc.

As for college, we are avid Penn State football (Jo-Pa) Hubby played Varsity golf there 4 yrs and is recognized in the Sports Museum there. our daughter loves the school and has thought about it for college but the only thing holding her back is the COLD weather. Being in TX and used to the heat... today at 70 is cold to us, LOL

We are HUGE Duke Blue Devil basketball fans. Hubby went there for MBA and we love Cameron stadium. They are actually talking to our daughter now and she will more than likely apply for early decision there. GREAT school, plus the weather is not that bad.

There are no teams I hate, just favorites to least favorites.

I really enjoy sports on TV, T.. After living overseas for 6 years, I realized how much I missed it, because watching on a sling box just isn't worth it! I did get to see the Super Bowl every year by going to a club that had big TV screens all over the room. I watched along with a couple hundred people. We ate breakfast and enjoyed the game in the morning on the other side of the world. I don't think any expats got any work done until the afternoon that one day of the year!

I enjoy watching pro football more than college football, but my HEART is with the college teams, I admit. I enjoy the games of the teams where I have lived, which is fun, except when they play each other!! (Who do I choose?)

And I love basketball~ especially the ACC!

I went to my son's college football game when we visited for Family Weekend. It was his first football game there too (he's a freshman) and it was a HARD THING to watch Division III football! Ack! I went to a large university with a Division One team - what a difference! I'll never be the same! LOL! (Just really need to get back to my alma mater to watch a REAL game! Don't mean for that to sound snarky! LOL!) Oh, and I'd NEVER tell my son that! It's an excellent academic school, private and a wonderful place for my son - just not a powerhouse in the sports field!!

Baseball is fun, but I can't really get into watching it on TV, though it is certainly playing in my house this week.

Oh - I almost forgot! Since my son now goes to school in Texas, I HAVE to love the Cowboys!!!

The MAVS!!! I have been a fan since I was little, when they were terrible.
Not a Cowboys fan, sorry. I get a chuckle out of their losses. Drives my husband crazy. FC Dallas...love soccer!! I HATE the Lakers, with ever fiber of me. Can't stand the Heat, because they aren't a team. I consider the spurs an enemy, but I have so much respect for Greg Popovich. I'm actually the one who got my husband into basketball. He has been Mavs obsessed since we got married :)

Not really followers, but we will always root for our home town baseball teams! We do like to go to live sporting events, when we get the chance, which is more exciting than sitting on the couch. However, we do get really into the Olympics and rooting for our country . . . USA, USA, USA, USA!

Well, my dad wanted a boy...so I'm a huge sports fan! Baseball is my favorite...go Cardinals!!! I've been a die hard Chicago Bears fan since I was 5 in '85! I've also been a huge fan of the Broncos for years. I also love hockey...go Avalanche!

And I grew up loving Iowa Hawkeyes football...my hubby grew up loving Iowa State Football. Since meeting him, I have been getting more and more into college football...Saturdays in our house are all about football. Although, hubby and my 7 year old daughter are slowly turning me from the Hawkeyes to the Cyclones. We live 10 minutes from the stadium...awesome. And they have a coach that you just have to love...so I'm slowly turning!

Needless to say, I LOVE sports and really can't imagine my life without them! Go Cardinals!!! :)

I grew up with brothers and now live in a completely male dominate house so yes I watch sports- Our house is a Raiders, (yes I know) house but we kinda lean toward the Jets also. Hate the Cowboys and the Broncos. Basketball it is Lakers all the way although it is not as fun to watch as it used to be.
We watch the U ( University of Utah) games and the USU games (because I grew up there).
Not big baseball fans we like to go to games but not really watch it on TV My youngest one will watch a Hockey game every now and then but Mostly it is football or basketball at our house.

I don't follow professional sports but I never pass on Cards tickets. Even when the Rams are doing well, though I forgot what that looks like, I don't watch. Blues are great but no one gives me tickets. Ya following that pattern, I don't buy tickets, I just won't, sorry but I have better things to do with a couple hundred bucks!

We are soccer fans. Die hard Seattle Sounders fans. I know all the rules, since I played for 12 years myself, I shout at the reff, I shout at the linesmen. I shake my head when our players do something stupid. We have season tickets, but just my husband goes because I don't like big crowds. When I was prego with my first son the World Cup was going on in Japan. When the games were happening they were being televised live so I had to set my alarm to wake up at 3am or 5am.
Both of my boys play now so I spend every weekend going to the games and have to control myself so I am not "that" parent! lol
We love soccer. The rest of the sports are BORING!!! :) LOL
