Do I Need a Douple Stroller?

I have a very independent 2 1/2 year old who loves to walk and run everywhere. She does ask to sit in her stroller sometimes. I am due at the beginning of July and I would like to get some opinions on wheather or not I should buy a double stroller, or just use a single stroller and see what happens? I have heard the sit and stand stroller is a good one, but I am not sure if I should go spend the money on a new stroller or not. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I would wait until after the baby is born. You can always take a sling or baby bjorn carrier with you when you go out, along with the current stroller. Then if you feel like you need a double stroller then purchase one.

I suggest waiting it out....Do you do alot of things that your two year old is still riding in a stroller now? If that is the case I would so the sit and stand, but if your daughter is not riding in a stroller now then she most likely won't need to ride in a stroller with the baby. I have a sit and stand for my two boys, they are 14 months apart and they LOVE to walk/run every place we go ~ but there are some trips to amusement parks that one might get tired. The sit and stand is great, it is still small, and the boys take turns on who rides in the front and who stands in the back, it all depends on who is the most tired. CONGRATS on the new baby and good luck to all of you.

Yeah...I'd wait. Give it a month or so and see if you ever think "gee...I wish I had a dbl stroller." or if the issue never comes up.

i love the sit and stand when my 3 yr old gets tired of walking he still asks to sit down

I would get the sit and stand so it is easy for your daughter to get in and out of since she is so active. Chances are when she sees the baby going for a ride, she will want to too.
