Distilled Water

I hear so many mixed reviews on drinking distilled water.
Is it safe to drink or not?
Some reports say it's perfectly safe, others say it can cause you to die earlier.
I am breastfeeding my 4 mnth old exclusively and only drink bottled water so I need to know if it's safe or not especially with b/f.

What can I do next?

For years we have only drank distilled water. We prefer the taste now. Years ago, I read in a holostic magazine that it was the healthiest water to drink. We buy the large dispensers at the grocery store (Target and Walmart do not carry the large ones). Another plus, is that we always have it in the house to use in our iron and steamer.

Distilled water is flat and it eliminates the body of nutrients. Taken for a short period of time its fine, but it isn't something you should take more than 21 days in a row. RO water is the water you should be drinking. Such as Dansini, Auqufina or even the purified water that you can get from the dispensers at the grocery store. We bye all of our water from BYOB in Lewisville off of Main Street. I recommend doing that. I hope this helps.

I don't know much about distilled water. But the best investment we made when I was nursing child #3 was get the Ozarka Delivery service. They have a plan where you actually own the water dispenser and get regular water deliveries each month for one set price. We get 20 gallons a month for $29 and the individual bottles are discounted (including starbucks coffee and other stuff).

I heard recently that it is acidic in bad for your body.

My pediatrician said its not dangerous, but it is better for us to drink purified, filtered, or spring water. We need the minerals that are taken out of distilled.
