Disappearing Question

I responded to a question earlier from a mom who thought her child was pushed by a cafeteria worker. What happened to it? How does someone remove a question?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks all. I have seen a lot of people do the thing where they just delete there stuff and leave a period. but this one is just gone all together. . she must have flipped out and mama pedia removed it.

She blanked out every question she ever had and flounced off and then probably requested her account be deleted.
She basically wanted people to say her special snowflake was abused and wanted to maybe sue someone when it was pretty clear he wasn't following rules/instructions.
Apparently she really is 'that Mom'.

I did not see a SWH but I understand some people did get some hate mail so I suppose her SWH got ugly and MMP pulled it.

Too bad.. I guess she was not on board with everyone telling her to lighten up. You don't go sue a school for something like that and you don't go into the school swinging when you only have your kid's side of the story.

I imagine she removed it because pretty much everyone told her she seemed to be overreacting and she didn't like that.
Kind of like taking your ball home when you are losing the game, huh?
Sour grapes :-(

Not sure how one deletes a question...unless it gets pretty ugly, and the 'moderators' finally delete the whole thing.

Seems like there have been a LOT of "hit and run" questions lately...

Perhaps it is just me.

Hello, disappearing question poster. Do you think maybe since everyone is telling you to lighten the hell up that you should consider it?

I'd hate to see her kid in a few years.

If I had to guess she went psycho and the question was pulled.

My guess is that she deleted her account. When I went to look at her profile, she'd deleted all of her previous questions down to simple periods.

It's too bad, really, but my guess is that if you call out Christy Lee, you'd better hide your face afterward?:)~

Marda, it was Maria E who was the original poster. Christy Lee is a longtime member and she's still around, thank goodness!

Unless you go in and edit your post to be nothing but a ., the other way to have a post deleted is to go off the rails and be reported.

I didn't know whole accounts got deleted. I didn't see any of the answers as being mean. They just said to let it go and why.

Was the person who asked the question a regular? Christy Lee sounds like someone I often read. Darn, I didn't look at past post.

ETA Nervy Girl mentioned Christy Lee so I thought she was the mom whose account, etc. disappeared. I just saw her account with questions intact. So tell me, whose question and account disapoeared? I answered the question but don't remember the name.

S.,

I didn't see the question...oh well....if it was her first question and she went ballistic?? it was most likely removed, pulled, deleted by the moderator...as most likely more than one person reported it.

There is only ONE account/member I know who had her account blocked by MMP - otherwise? They just delete questions.

The ONLY way a question can be removed is by the moderator. It has to be reported, the moderator will review and figure out if it's bad or not. If the moderator feels it's "acceptable" it stays. If the moderator feels it's NOT acceptable - it goes.

The OP (Original poster) can "delete" their question by removing the words and putting a :...: or thanks (like one did last week) or something else...

Hope this helps!!

I know she deleted it. I guess she didn't agree with people's thoughts. I think she was hoping for outrage.

people are asshats and whisk their questions away if they get answers they don't like.
but the only time the question actually goes away altogether is if MP axes it. usually for profanity.

That was Maria's question. I answered, said she was overinvolved, overreacting, and making a mountain out of a molehill. Maria PM'd me calling me mean and telling me to "keep your mouth shut!" I called her out publicly, because I don't hide my true personality in PMs. She then deleted her question and SWH and left a "." so I guess someone reported her and the MMP admins removed the question altogether. I seldom report, and didn't report her.
