Dirty Looking Elbows
Does anyone else have the problem with elbows looking like they are always dirty? I have scrubbed my elbows until they were bright red, and they still look like they are dirty. I am caucasian and not very tan right now. I have mainly worn long sleeves during the winter except for the ocassional t-shirt when working out or around the house. Any ideas on how to lighten up the elbows so they don't look like I don't clean them?

I don't want to sound like I'm selling you something but have you tried Arbonne Body Serum and Lotion? I had elbows like that and after one week they started to look normal again. They aren't rough any longer and look like they belong on my arm again! Great stuff!!

Honestly, we are a lot more self conscience about ourselves than others are. I say try some of the previous suggestions but don't let it bother you too much. Don't let it stop you from wearing short or no sleeves; be confident and keep it movin'!
Just my two cents :)

In chinese medicine they say dark spots on the knees and elbows means a liver problem. You may want to try a cleanse system such as one found on www.mercola.com or your local health food store. Milk thistle is a very good herb for the liver but talk your doctor about any drug interactions or other concerns. If you're not already drinking mainly filtered water and on a whole foods diet, then consider it. Other great places to look are the Weston A. Price foundation and www.enlita.com for dietary advice.

Pumace off the dry skin and keep lotion on.
You can use Diabetic lotions, as they work very well.

Hi! I don't have this problem, but my moum swears by lemon halves. You just cut a lemon in half and sort of put your elbow inside. I suppose you have to rub it around a bit, and leave it on for a while. I hope this helps!

I can not offer any help as I am wondering the same thing. I am glad you posted this question. After reading replies to your message, I will try the lemons first. If generations have used them and they are easy to come by that is where I will start. I hope we both have good luck as this has always bothered me too. Please let us know if anything does work for you and I will do the same.
