Does anyone know a good diet pill that works? I use to take Phentermine 2 yrs ago and I lost 25 lbs. Then I had a baby and the weight has been so hard to get off! Phentermine can no longer be sold on the internet. I am wanting to know if anyone knows of a great one and how much weight they have lost. I do work out 3x a week and I try to watch what I eat. I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

You may be wanting it to come off too fast, and then your size will yo-yo, and health. If you are exercising, and eating healthy foods, you won't need (diet pills) and in a few months you will notice the inches start to go away, and they will stay away. Don't wiegh, as building up solid muscles with exercise may not change the scales as fast, but a size smaller in clothes will happen with your being less inches. I know a person wants it off fast, but then it always comes back and if you just keep doing what you are doing, it will be slower, but will stay off, and you will be much healther than a pill might make you.

It works, i was having trouble losing that extra little pudge after my baby (had a c-section) started using this product plus working out 4 times a week and eating right. Now i have a 6 pack and alot of muscle tone. It works wonders! Plus it doesnt make you all jittery :] so thats a plus!

Good luck!

Hi A., I hear you about trying to get those extra baby pounds off. After my last baby I had 60 pounds to lose and for me what helped was taking Cortislim. I didn't get any strange side effects like I did when first trying Hydroxycut. It took a few weeks before I started seeing real results, but after that my weight just started melting off. Okay, I did watch what I ate and I worked out 6 days a week :). But I felt I got the strength from taking Cortislim. My husband even said during the time I was on this pill I seemed to be in better moods. Which is another plus. I hope this helps A. and I wish you good luck!!!

I agree with Janet. If you're eating well and exercising, you shouldn't need diet pills (they don't work and even if it seems like it does, it's only because it's causing your body to lose important things, like water!) I lost 50 pounds in 2007. How? I ate 1200-1500 calories a day. That's it. I didn't count fat grams or carbs or anything else. I just counted calories. For the first six months (when I lost the first 40 pounds), I wasn't even exercising! I lost the next 10 pounds after joining my local Jazzercise class and doing that 3-4 times a week. If you're exercising hard, you'll need more calories. You never want to eat less than 1200 because it will cause major damage to your organs and your metabolism. Try using one of those calorie counting websites to keep track of what you're eating (I used http://caloriecount.about.com/) Good luck!!

A.,

I have tried many different kinds of diets and diet pills and I can tell you from experience, they don't work!! Once you go off of them, you will gain the weight back. That's because you aren't dealing with the underlying cause of overweight. You have to get to the root cause of the problem.

I have, with the Lord's help, taken 65 lbs. off through WeighDown Workshop. Check that out at www.weighdown.com. I really hope you will forget about pills and do this program. It works!!

God bless you!

I really don't think there is a diet pill out there that is safe. I would suggest joining Weight Watchers. After I had my daughter I joined and lost 80 pounds. It teaches you how to eat and gives you a sence of accountability wich is really important for weight loss. If you want a hamburger you can have it!!!! You just have to be careful of what you eat the rest of the day. It's only $40 a month, that is less than what you would spend on diet pills every month.

Just a FYI...Phentermine is still sold online. You have to get the "prescription" that they issue to be able to get it but that's all a huge scam as it is. Just be careful if you do order it because they are sending out old pills that are much weaker through some sites. I took that stuff and hated it though! It was too much like real speed for me. I couldn't sleep at night and it made me REALLY moody. Blugh.. So I'd be interested to know if anyone has any good diet pill ideas as well.

Losing weight can be a challenge, as can keeping it off! Sounds like your first step, exercise, has got you on the right track. My advice would be to change your eating habits. To get started, I suggest doing a cleanse. A registered nutritionist that carries the Standard Process brand can get you on a regimine. The Standard cleanse lasts 21 days. The last one I did, I lost 18 lbs! The first 11 days are tough b/c you can't eat meat, but the last 10 are smooth sailing as you are used to it by then and you then add chicken and fish. This cleanse will require that you eat organic vegetables, and they have SO MANY recipes that make the food great. And you can have as many protein smoothies during the day as you want! Since you are a SAHM, and we are approaching the summer months where fruits and veggies are in abundance this shouldn't be too difficult to maintain. I highly recommend it. It will really get you thinking about what you are putting in your body! Not sure where you live, but Kellie Lancaster in Decatur and Bowie carries the product, or go online to www.standardprocess.com. Best wishes!

Ok A.,
I just started taking these Diet Pills called Perfect slim. I heard about them through a friend. I started last week. Well, my friend was on it for 3 months and she lost 30 pounds. So far, I don't feel as hungry....and when I do eat...I don't eat as much. For example, last night for dinner I could only eat a couple of bites because I was not hungry at all. If you wanted any more info. just email me and I can refer you to my friend that told me about it.

My doctor has recently put me on Phentermine, a 1200-1500 cal diet and exercise at least 4 days a week. Since you are working out already maybe your body has just adapted to what you are doing so you need to change it up a bit. Also start journaling everything you eat that seems to help the most. And of course water, water, water. :-)

Weight Watchers girl. I lost 30 lbs last year and have kept it off by that diet. It helps you realise your eating habits and change them to a healthy way. Most people eat until they are stuffed when reality you are to eat until your satisfied and just eat when you need to not all the time. Snacks are a no no unless they are healthy. I did the online course its only like $16 or so and it was so easy with my busy schedule of management of a pizza place. Also I walked a lot too and that helped. Sounded like you are working out so that will help a lot too. Try it and trust me you will love it! I did the flex plan where I could choose my food with no food to buy from them. Just changed a bit in buying process. Like instead of fat stuff I buy now low fat items with no sugar or low in sugar. Fat free is the way to go! Good luck. Oh and also I take a daily vitamin I got at wal-mart its called "Weight Conscious" It has green tea and helps boost your metabolism and also has normal vitamins a woman needs.

Girlfriend have i got the one for you!!! its called Slimquick and you can get it at the good ole wally world!! lol its made for a womans body and it helps with stress and hormones and helps suppress your appetite. i tell all my friends and family about it. my friend just went to the dr recently and she said she lost 11 lbs and she has only been taking it about 1 mth or so. shes a SAHM with 3 kids and shes looking great!! i work and i have 2 children, 1 is 8 yrs old and the other is 3 mths old. many years ago i used to weigh a whopping 285 lbs and im 5'9. thats way too much for my height. the average weight im supposed to be is between 150 and 165 lbs. i started taking metabolife w/ephedra (before all the ephedra issues came out) and i lost 75 lbs. im an avid kickboxer and i trained hard and lost alot more. then i went thru a tiresome divorce and then the weight seemed to miss me and it piled back on! i went back to around 265 or so. then a couple years later i remarried and we had a child and then gravity kicks in and everything seemed to double. i was still heavy and miserable. then one day i had enough of being over weight and cant find any cute clothes to wear that didnt look like drapes on you, i went to walmart and bought slimquick. i started taking that and then after the first month (it takes a bit to get into your syst. and get started) i was walking as much as i could and drinking lots of water w/a slice of fresh lemon (citrus helps cut fat out). i lost well over 50 lbs then and actually kept it off!! thats the kicker!! actually keeping it off!! slimquick didnt make me feel jittery or like speedy gonzales and i was moody anymore and i had more energy to play with my son. my initial weight was 265 (+or-) and i wore a size 22 to 26 jeans. so when i started losing the weight it wasnt real fast but it was enough where you can notice the difference. i got down to 184 lbs and size 14 to 16 jeans and i kept it off. ive recently had another baby and i had only gained 25 lbs or so while pregnant. after the baby was born, i lost all 25 lbs plus more and am still wearing the same clothes i wore before. ive really had lots of luck with the product and i hope you will too. just make sure you read the label to make sure it is compatible with any medications you are currently taking and consult your physician for your weight loss management goals (BMI,height, weight and whats right for you).

Hey A.! Just wanted to let you know that it is probably a good thing that Phentermine has been taken off of the market. It can cause heart damage and slows your metabolism. I took Phentermine and it caused damage to my heart and now I have trouble losing weight. I don't know that there is a diet pill that is safe and keeps the weight off long-term. Good luck!

Hi Ashely, I'm 54 years old & over weight. Through the years I have lost hundreds of pounds with diet pills only to gain them back. I thought I was over weight back in my 20's & 30's but when I look back I would love to be that thin. Last June I decided that I would change the way that I eat. I have arthritis to I'm unable to work out but just cutting back & eating small protions I've lost 36 lbs. Yes it's slow but I don't work out like you so I'm sure you will lose it. Just be patient with yourself & don't get frustrated. You didn't gain it in a month so it won't come off in a month at least not & stay off. Another thing I learned was that a cup of granulated sugar is 720 calories & I drank a gal of sweet ice tea a day so I dropped sugar & bread & that has made the weight come off faster the past couple of months. I didn't mean to write you a book, sorry.
My point is that diet pills are a quick fix & not really the right way in most cases. It can cause problems later down the road. Just be careful whatever you chose to do & good luck & God Bless You.
