Did You Embrace the Baby Bump or Dislike It?

I have a friend that is near the end of her pregnancy. I've noticed from facebook, she is having or did have a hard time embracing the baby bump. It's inevitable right? And I know it gets big near the end....but I never had a problem embracing the bump. In fact I always felt the most secure about my body when pregnant. I guess because in my head all flaws with my body, even if it wasn't because of pregnancy, could be blamed on pregnancy.

I am not having anymore kids....I have nothing to pin my body anymore. I don't even feel I can pin it on my kids anymore because they are 6 and 4.

How did you feel about the bump?

What can I do next?

I didn't like that period of time where you are getting fat and pants dont fit, but you dont look pregnant. And that part where you almost look pregnant but people aren't comfortable asking because you might just be fat! Hate it. I couldn't wait for the bump. I'd rather look pregnant than fat anyday!

Totally loved it with my first pregnancy, right up until I gave birth 6 days past my due date. I loved being pregnant. Now I'm pregnant with my second and all of the stretch marks that appeared in the last month of my first pregnancy, the weakened abdominal muscles, the extra effort of taking care of a toddler and the lack of time to exercise have made me not love it so much the second time around. Definitely don't hate it, but I'm feeling like I'd be ok if this was my last pregnancy, whereas with my first I felt like I could have babies for a living.

Next to my wedding day, pregnancy was the prettiest I ever felt in my life and that lasted much longer than the hours in my big dress! :oD

Loved my bump! LOVED IT! Loved all the maternity wear that accentuated it too!

It was also nice when it came to dealing with cranky pet owner clients. They would be all rude to the receptionists and techs and then suddenly they would see I was pregnant and they were not cranky anymore. I milked it for all it was worth. Nobody gets mad at the pregnant lady.

I absolutely loved my pregnancy and my baby bump. I don't think I ever felt sexier than when I was pregnant. I was so proud of my ability to create and grow life inside of me and that I think that's what made me feel sexy and confident. I was blessed with a great healthy pregnancy. Sure, it was uncomfortable not to be able to sleep on my belly, but I loved my bump. I miss it from time to time.

I actually hate the term baby bump. It just sounds like someone is trying to make it cute or something. Not that I am saying it is ugly but come on, I have waddled three of my four pregnancies, it isn't a bump.

Gotta say....liked the bump.
But I have to say I never got to the huge, uncomfortable stage.
I went into labor almost 2 weeks early.
My pregnancy was 100% trouble free, so yeah.....loved the bump.
