Diapers on a Crawler

Hi ladies,
I have a question about diapers now that my son is crawling. I have been using Pampers Baby Dry and love them but now my son seems to have constant plumbers butt. I have had bad luck with Cruisers giving him a rash around the legs but are they needed for "cruising" babies? He has been wearing size 5's for a long time now (he's a big boy) but is the plumbers butt because they are now too big? Any input would be nice...thanks!

S.

I was never a big fan of Pampers other than Baby Dry.

We have consistently used Huggies (the big box from Costco) on our kids since our daughter was a few months old. We went through crawling, etc. in them without any issues.

We were also pretty impressed with Luvs and the Target brand, but our mainstay has been Huggies.

She's a big girl and has been in size 5s since around her 1st birthday and has done really well in them because of the elastic around the back of the diaper.

My son who's almost a year and has been using pampers baby dry or cruisers but I didn't care for them because he had a plumbers butt and they didn't seem to protect him from leaks either. I started using the Huggies little movers for about a month now and I love them. He doesn't have a plumbers butt and he hasn't had any leaks either. I would give them a try!

My son is 9 months and 25 lbs. He wears size 4 Luvs and I havent had any problems yet. I tried the Target brand but they dont stretch around the waist enough for my son. I like the Luvs and they are cheaper the Huggies or Pampers.

I tried several different brands, and the ones that have consistently worked the best through all infant/toddler phases is Huggies. We buy them in bulk (a month's worth in one box) at a local Sam's Club store, which helps with the cost; and yes, though Huggies are more expensive than others out there, the cost difference is not terribly great, and I find it worth it since I don't have to worry about rashes or leaks, which saves money on diaper ointment and Dreft Stain Remover (which is, hands down, the BEST stain remover ever!).

God bless!

Every consider cloth diapers? My personal favorite is the pocket one size diapers with the internal adjustments. They are less bulky than other one size diapers in the smaller sizes and I've never had a blowout out or plumbers butt with them. They can be customized so easily for different body shapes.

We use the Target Up & Up diapers for our daughter....We love them....Actually just recently purchased Huggies because they ended up being cheaper because they were the huge box clearanced down and I had a coupon....we can't wait til they are gone so we can go back to the Target brand...
